Why are people so mad a Rockstar?

It is ironic that within this open world sandbox everyone who wants to progress, unlock items and earn cash at an acceptable rate is stuck in loading screens and lobbies waiting to play one of the many time limited and restricted game modes that is well hidden away from any public free roam server and isolated to a small place on the map.

I like Rockstar. I'll never buy a Cash Card because 90% of what I do online generates money. I feel bad for them & us for whatever is causing the heist delay & I'll continue to wait patiently while I'm still interested in the game. I do not believe they lied to us about things, I'm guessing they were wrong about the timeline of the heist release. (you guys act like you've never been late for anything)

 

notes on SP/MP prices:

 

prices are lower on SP because once you've completed everything there's no way to make cash unless you own property & there's a wait period between payouts.

 

on MP you have the option to make cash on every corner. even if you live in Freeroam you can still get paid (HPV's/Bounties/Armored Trucks/stolen cars/Lester's targets)

 

so since cash is so easy to come by online, it make sense that prices are higher.

 

the value of a dollar in SP is 10 times greater than the value in MP.

 

compare hospital fees. SP it cost $2000 if you die & MP it's only $500. why? because it's easier to die in MP than SP. (unless you drive to fast into a shrub)

GTA Online isn't even finished yet. Of course there would be tons of glitches and mods. Of course they take a while to patch glitches and bring out updates. Of course they will try to make you buy cash cards. It's a company. They are human beings.

Are you an idiot or moron? First and foremost, Rockstar programmers leave all of these "back doors" in the game for these glitches, hacks and mods to happen. Most companies do for two reasons, 1) they want to see how far people will go and 2) they want to be able to develop stronger security measures.

 

In reality, Rockstar has banned less than 30 people from the game and on the PS3 side, Sony has only banned 2 people do to activity in GTAO. I recently called Rockstar out publicly and through the BBB for their actions and at the pesent time we are neogating a fair price for me to become silent on the issue.

From blacklisting the best vehicles to patching fun glitches like the gate glitch to making COUNTLESS empty promises, I have lost my patience with Rockstar. My reply: No they're lower because they're meant to replicate real-life prices of things. If you've used Lesters stock market, you could of had enough money.

Well, for starters, there is the fact that the game is still wonky, and at times won't let you go online or it will just kick you out after about four or five minutes.

 

Then there are the missions, which there are not a whole lot of in the game and many of them are so similar in their objectives that it gets a little boring at times. This is a big reason why the Heists delay is such a big issue, coupled with the fact that it was promised for the Spring, people want new things to do and they want bigger cash payouts. They could have added more missions to the game in their updates, and yes I know they have before but not very many and not any that have been drastically different than what was already offered.

 

Once you start getting to certain rank, like late 90s and so forth, you start running out of things to unlock and there goes a lot of motivation for playing and leveling up. I personally think there should be more stuff when you get to level 100, not less. The RPG and that weird truck kind of make up for it so this is not that big a problem, still there should be special clothes and maybe missions or something that unlock once you've made it that high.

 

Lastly, the glitches and mods that have been ruining the game as of late. I mean, there's a damn "rape" mod out now. It's just kind of out of hand.

yes. in real life you can get a custom paint job for $650 ($1200 if you want chrome), $3000 for the "high end" rims & drive around the corner & buy a suit for $5000.

 

also I did the stock market deal with all 3 characters. bought every property & have more SP cash then I'll ever spend. (just like every other GTA)

 

you comments in MP cash are the worst. next time you're online, walk into a blue marker. after you're done, you'll have more cash than when you started.

 

it's people like you that want to play Freeroam Deathmatch all night & complain about being broke. ANYTHING besides Freeroam pays, but you're too good to play for low payouts, or to be bothered by load screens.

Think about this. Since R* is a company, they want to make money. If they release heists, probably no one will ever buy a cash card again. I bet they are holding of on heists until the game is nearly dead, as a last case resort to bring back players and extend the life of GTA:O. Its simple, really.

Ok after reading all the way through this I can see that majority of people think that R* are greedy... look around who in there right frickin mind is not greedy in this world, and if people are not looking for $$$$ they are looking for something that satisfies them instantly. I believe that R* rushed the game due to I remember that the orignal release date was set some time in 2014 but there was a huge demand to release it early, am I saying it is a beta hell no!!!

 

When you rush something in the programing world some of the smaller glitches get overlooked, i.e. the wall glitches, the god mode glitch, the money glitch, ... the list could go on. Has it occured that they may not have found a way to hot patch some of these glitches that they maybe in the core code and have to have a patch and recode to fix?

 

I am prolly gonna get blasted for standing up for rockstar, if you hate them so much go back to paying $60 a year for the new CoD game that will add 3-5 DLCS at around $10 each and have campers, glitchers, lag switchers, modders, the list goes on... I digress, for that $60 new CoD you get 11 new features and it is in no way like the last one.... R* released their last gta when? and comparing it to GTA V is like comparing a 1990's computer to one today with the world size. Our current gen consoles are pushed to the limit with running this game, and then to stress the fact that the modders/hackers are adding in bullsh*t that sticks on the server... yeah expect lag

 

I personally want the DLC now, but if they spend an extra week or two making sure that they fix the game breaking stuff I am willing to wait, patience is something that is dead in this world, if you don't believe me work in retail you will understand very quickly. Say for example you bought a car, brand new from the dealership. Before buying the car you asked, "does it have heated seats?" To which the salesman replies "ofc it does!"

 

So you happily purchase your brand new car with your hard earned money that you saved up so long for only to find out that the dirty salesman lied to you..

 

so what do you do? You go back and question him about the seats. So let's also say that he told you to come back in a week and they would install the seats for you free of charge. A week goes by and he tells you the seats still aren't in and to come back next week. This goes on for a few months before they FINALLY get them in and remind you of how they'll install them free of charge. So at the point, you as the dumbass customer as happy as sh*t to have finally gotten your free heated seats installed free of charge.

 

that or as soon as you realize you got lied to, you take the car back to rip that salesman a new asshole for not having a feature you specifically wanted to finalize the purchase.

Lol? I don't make video games because I know I can't so for me to make a statement like that would just be plain silly. But rockstar DOES make video games. It's what they do for a living so if they're not doing it right then maybe they shouldn't be doing it at all.

 

as I've stated before many times. I'd GLADLY pay for a stable version of gtao. I would pay monthly fees to insure a safe gaming environment free or modders or game breaking issues.

people r mad cause they have been waiting a year almost for a heist add on that prolly wont be as much fun as people think it will be. IMO I think online would have been more fun if they would have added a storyline similar to the single player. I get tired of playing the same exact missions over and over and over again.
