I think it's because R* don't communicate with their fan base (not a fan, I just play summa their games). You get more replies to questions from Xbox indie developers. Check Gristmill Studios and the forum for Apocz. Way more replies, and in the case of Gristmill, they even take requests for things people want to see in future games/updates and have done it too.

That never used to be the R* that i loved, and not even a patch for these glitches but still advertising the game like "Check out this epic stunt montage!" and promoting glitchers like DomIsLive. Even V disappointed me, got really boring after all was completed. The AI is horrendous, mountains bland, no interiors, stupid peds,etc. I can still have fun with GTA4 and SA up until this day. And the characters in older GTA games are way better than this boring trio of scumbag, FIB helping bitches. And you asskissers may say 'R* iz gnna release it az DLC!!!111 Stup h8ing!" Yes at this point with the lack of a patch I believe they are indeed working on new core code so its fixed once and for all before the port. Might take a while before we see 1.16. But it'll be before new consoles for testing..

Delayed updates fixing the communties mess of glitching and modding. Don't blame Rockstar for something the community did. Oh and they delay heists, because it's a money making mission and the modders would prob. find a way to hack that too.

So they delayed Online to October 1st because of the community too ? They delayed heists almost a 1year after release because of the recent modding lobbies ? Youre wanting too much buddy the glitches were already there the people didnt create them , they found them !!!

 

Online for October 1st was a set date, because they wanted people to play SP and get used to the map, before going straight into online. Also it doesn't matter if people didn't create the glitches they still have to be patched and that takes time. About the Heists they were schedulaed to be released in the Spring, but glitchers and modders started happeing so they had to delay it. Once the Mods and Glitches have been fixed the Heists will come.

 

Also people should not be mad at Rockstar for giving out free DLCs you can't get mad at free content.

It wasn't a set date, why do you think gtao had so much problems at release? You can be mad at free dlc if it delays things that were promised when you bought the 60$ if not more game (heists).

jobs are a waste of time, stores get you around 1000-1700 and take too long to do for such a small amount, most bounties are wallbreachers and you end up spending more money on ammo and re-spawning than you get from most bounties, gang attacks net you about 2000 and are hard to find and do, hpv doesnt appear often and isnt that good for quick money as well as if you do it in a public game you see some zentornos heading your way and armoured cars are probably the only thing near decent on there.

GTA Online isn't even finished yet. Of course there would be tons of glitches and mods. Of course they take a while to patch glitches and bring out updates. Of course they will try to make you buy cash cards. It's a company. They are human beings.

"People" are mad because of empty promises. "People" are mad not because they sell shark cards, but the payout reduction they did to sell them. "People" aren't mad about god-mode glitches, their mad that they still exist after 2-3 weeks and no update. "People" are mad that R* is spending more time banning people then fixing the game. What does a console ban serve? All they need is another console. Were talking about Hackers here. They spend all this time banning these Modders, like they arent going to find a way around it by getting a new console or altering the MAC address of their system (Or whatever it's Hardware ID system is). They need to stop flexing their Nutz and start fixing the issue's themselves, THEN worry about the modders/glitchers. This needs to be done so I can play online safely and as it is intended to be played, today. P.S. By "People" I mean me, I don't claim to know any other persons reasons.

I've played the GTA series for 17 years now , Bully , Manhunt , RDR and midnight pretty much all of them and have always praised rockstar on there intuitive and innovative game mechanics and like everyone else over the coarse of nearly 20 years praised them for such. However GTA Online is the first time I have sat down and played a rock star game and actually thought of them not as game developers but as a business . My opinion on them changed drastically I think they looked at other games with pricey DLC and noticed how it seems to be acceptable to today's gamers . They make fun of over priced DLC in game but cash cards seem like rock stars way of milking more money . I used to play rockstar games and think " you know these guys know what there doing , I can tell from the level of detail and there own form of tongue in cheek comedy they really cared when making this game " . Now unfortunately I see a company , a big business , a corporation . I think they have lost what made them great I hope they realise soon real gamers don't consider games to be just casual time wasters but something they love since childhood in most cases and realise it's the fans that keep them going .

They may be optional, but it's obvious R* constantly tries to force people into buying them by nerfing the mission payouts and raising the prices of everything. I don't mind if a company wants to sell cash cards in their game, but what makes it wrong when R* does it is because they seem to make it harder to earn GTA$ after every patch. Patching both Rooftop Rumble (Which is a buggy f*cking mess right now, but R* obviously doesn't give a f*ck) and Coveted (which takes f*cking ages to complete now). making them harder for no reason. So yeah... f*ck off with the "Ki$h Kerd$ is optional bullsh*t. RANT OVER... AGAIN...

 

FUN FACT: Correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure that the same update that R* released cash cards is the same update that the job payouts were cut in half. 1.06

I'm not mad with Rockstar at all. In fact I feel sorry for them as their reputation is being ruined by no fault of their own. The ones I am mad at are Take Two shareholders. They pushed for release almost a full year before Rockstar wanted to, rushed the development and is in charge of the cash card direction the game keeps sliding further and further into. They are milking GTAO until christmas when the current gen comes out and then they will do hiests and milk that for a year or less. My source says the old gen version has all but been abandoned already.

 

Blame the greedy shareholders for ruining this game not the guys actually doing the work.

I wouldn't be surprised if they hold on for the Next Gen releases to simultaneously release Heists now but their priorities are probably to ensure smoother releases as they move into their second year of hosting a constant GTA universe.

I see what you mean and I would probably do the same but to me heists didn't seem inevitable since at the time there was still glitches and other annoying stuff that just made heists seem like a last priority so why promise us them if the chances are that there were bound to be other priorities that are more important like patching money glitches and generally annoying stuff like the conrows glitch, We had to wait ages for that to be patched

Special is a useful gun, Bullpup not so much.

a lot of it is due to the glitchers (money glitches and god mode glitches) that rockstar has to clean up, it will take time, how long idk since i don't work for them.

Money glitchers don't take up update time, If so the Beach Bum would've came out December.
