Why are people so mad a Rockstar?

You bought the game GTA V, not GTA Online. They already delievered on the game.. quit bitching. You're not entitled to anything, all you're entitled to is the game, which you got, on your disc. It's also already been stated tons of times that the current gen is essentially the BETA for GTA Online and the real fresh GTA Online will appear on Next Gen consoles. If you don't like it - stop playing.

The game's finished. They chopped into parts, then send out the missing pieces gradually to extend game life. If GTA Online had full content upon release, the game will be a graveyard now.

 

Heist is finished. Rockstar's just bullsh*tting. Well, if it's not finished, they're still bullsh*t for advertising something undone in a release trailer.

 

Face it. Rockstar have degraded now. The result of their action has been reflected by complaining disappointed users. If they want to close their eyes and ears and keep listening to fanboys' compliments and praises, their quality will be compromised even more in the future.

I think it's legit to feel disappointment with how r* have & continue to (mis)handle gtao. The ineptitude of dealing w/modders & certain glitches is an affront to their community + the genuinely have broken promises. Not to mention some of r* questionable policies (yea, cash cards..)

 

In their defence the entitlement some people have to dlc's is quite unbecoming & childish. & the game has been bullied & ripped up by some of it's players.

 

Yea it's a disappointing situation we all find ourselves in 10months down the line..

its been 317 days since gta online was released and no release date for heists

 

every update makes it harder to earn legit cash

 

they instantly patch money glitches yet dont care about god mode glitches or wallbreaches

 

every updates vehicles are expensive (400k for a citroen? no thanks!)

 

the cars from the beach bum pack arent free anymore

 

also, how come beach bum had free cars but every update now has them expensive?

 

no where near as many clothes online as SP

 

upgrading a car costs loads! (i spent 85k on buying a panto, then fully upgrading it with everything cost me another 400k. thats nearly half a million on one car!)

Gee and I wonder why I stopped playing this game until heists ever come out. I'm not the only one too. Screw Rockstar Games and their K3SH KURDZZ. From blacklisting the best vehicles to patching fun glitches like the gate glitch to making COUNTLESS empty promises, I have lost my patience with Rockstar. I'm sick and tired of these sleazeballs telling us 'Oh heists will be out soon!'. LIES. FREAKING LIES!

I still can't believe that SP is really crapped when story's finished. It's true that they're focusing too much on Online and make SP as if it's a long tutorial.

 

Nothing to do in SP. The only way to make money is to wait until one in-game week and gambling in stock market. No real job to do. Can't even perform Heist outside story to make money, although it's the spotlight of the game. Wtf Rockstar?

People saying the game isn't finished are getting on my wick....this is not a alpha/beta test, yes the game is constantly developing with updates and fixes but that is not to say it is an incomplete game. Due to its vast size and all it's variety we of course are going to encounter a lot of bugs that need fixing.

 

To those who would reply 'this is just a beta for the new generation of consoles version' maybe in the developers eyes, not the consumer.

 

Personally I still have faith in Rockstar and will buy future titles, I would like to see how well any other game developer could handle such a mammoth task of not only creating a game such as this but then maintaining (hot fixes) and keeping it fresh with semi-regular updates... rant over. Kisses.

Broken promises. First, heists get delayed. Second, R* breaks their silence on heists finally and says to "Look forward this Spring for...", Spring is long gone and still no heists.

 

On the side of glitching, people are angry that R* patches money glitches within hours with a hot fix, but when It comes to God mode and the much more serious game breaking glitches, R* does nothing about them because they do not have a relation to cash cards and R*'s sale of said cards so they could care less for fixing it in the current moment.

and in gta 4 you could play multiplayer, mess around, shoot up people and kill each other without the worry of losing cash, bad sport, cheaters pool, paying for insurance and ammo etc.

I hate them because they promised me a World of CRIME, when I first played GTA 2, it was a revelation for me. A game focused entirely on the activities of a bad guy. This is what I want and Payday 2 does it right. Past GTA titles did some of it right, but that isn't what we got here.

It's not like that at all. Cash cards/f2p is the business model that underpins r* approach to the game - it's what limits a lot of things in the game. If they'd gone with an approach more consumer friendly (subscription, making gtao a game you had to buy etc) a lot of grievances & security breaches could've been avoided.

But that's the THEME of the game, MONEY -

They made that clear from the start, cash cards are what pay their salary to bring us FREE updates

don't you see how both parties are being treated here?

 

Who works for free?

They could have made gta online and been done with it

They could have made us pay stupid amounts for DLC

Cash cards are optional

 

The main reason people blow up cars in this game is because tay actually belong to some1, like a slap in the face

nobody owned any cars in gta 4 so it was pointless, just random killing, nothing else

 

They have moved forward having insurance and proper transactions

some people have loads of money some don't, its a bloody game
