Why are people so mad a Rockstar?

They had weeks to patch the mod script and the money glitch is patched, Why the hell would they release a unfinished game in the first place. And a promised update not show up after 11 monthes... Almost a year.

The fact they hotfix the money glitches as soon as they can but seem to not care about game breaking exploits. Also I know we aren't owed anything but it would be nice if they didn't have to keep us constantly in the dark as far as updates or even just when they are planning on fixing the game.

Broken promises. First, heists get delayed. Second, R* breaks their silence on heists finally and says to "Look forward this Spring for...", Spring is long gone and still no heists.

 

On the side of glitching, people are angry that R* patches money glitches within hours with a hot fix, but when It comes to God mode and the much more serious game breaking glitches, R* does nothing about them because they do not have a relation to cash cards and R*'s sale of said cards so they could care less for fixing it in the current moment.

a lot of it is due to the glitchers (money glitches and god mode glitches) that rockstar has to clean up, it will take time, how long idk since i don't work for them.

if they would have been more forthcoming about heists back in October people wouldn't be so upset.

but they are a company that wants to make money(I'm not disputing that). Just they could have gone about it differently.

I honestly would have just waited for next Gen but not now, there's no way I'm gonna buy the same game twice to get some extra amenities. And they knew GTA 5 was coming to Xbox one/PS4 probably as far back as November if not way sooner. Shark cards really don't bother me because who wouldn't want money for nothing? It would be like giving monopoly a $20 for 4 $500 lol sounds funny but its easy money.

 

All in all I'm not mad per se, just disappointed. I thought rockstar was a company with scruples.

Welcome to GTAF, where doing the right thing is just as bad as doing the wrong thing, and doing the obvious thing is just as bad as doing the obscure thing, and people get mad if you do pretty much… anything.

As if R* constantly delaying heist for over ten months wasn't enough for people to be mad at R*.

 

-R* is so fast to hot-fix GTA$ glitches, but they don't seem to give a f*ck about the God-Mode glitches, Spawn-killing death-matches, or fixing their sh*tty match making.

 

- R* constantly patches the most fun most harmless glitches. building interior glitches, gate launches, and anything else that happens to bring any enjoyment and fun to the player.

 

-R* keeps nerfing mission payouts and buffing mission difficulty making it a pain in-the-ass to get any legit GTA$ in the game.

 

-R* constantly leaves us in the dark. They haven't even said a single word about heist. The last we've heard about heist was "we're sorry". R* didn't even have the balls to post an official news wire about it. What the f*ck have they been doing for the past 10 months? At this point, i bet most of us don't give a f*ck about heist anymore. We're already expecting them to f*cking suck. I think most of us would rather have mission creator at this point.

 

-Instead of giving us the highly anticipated heist, we keep get sh*tty super cars, pistols, and suits. Still not a single word about heist. I sometimes wonder if when somebody ask R* about heist, they stick their fingers in their ears and scream "LALALALALALALALALALA" at the top of their lungs.

 

And so on and so forth. So yeah, those are some of the MANY MANY MANY reasons on why people are so mad at R*

As they say, follow the money. Wich in this case will lead you directly to, you guessed it, shark cards. I doubt mission payouts would need to be nerfed if sharkcards were out of the equation.

A few highlights IMO which sum up why:

 

- Wall breaches which have been in place almost in all instances since the Inception of GTA Online = R* Laziness

- Direct people to Newswire. Last 2 Updates release unannounced = R* Laziness

- Last Update on an Update was to delay Heists, no Update on the progress of Heists or any other potential Update since = R* Laziness and failure to communicate with the community

- Houses in Paleto Bay,same Interior as mid-level Apartments = R* Laziness

- Update 1.15 (the worst accept maybe the Beach Bum Update) has broken GTA Online back to 1.06 level of Game-breaking glitches and exploits and no release of Patch for said exploits in over 42 days = R* sloppy coding and laziness

 

Need I mention the Beach Bum Update. Broken Bottle and SNS Pistol anyone?

 

Really R* have done as little work as possible to keep GTA Online enjoyable. Also, no-one bring up the FREE argument. Until I can play GTA Online without the GTA V disc you are just swallowing Corporate Lawyer speak.

Because GTA V is not good enough to even be a GTA title. That, and Online has been broken since launch.

 

And OP, I do not 'hate' Rockstar. Hate is a strong word. I dislike Rockstar's decisions.
