The whole idea of releasing a game is that when it's released it works (I understand, there can still be bugs, etc), it's been months upon months and there still isn't a patch for the RSC people who have a never-ending loading screen. I could care less about the DLC, their first and foremost concerns should have been to make sure the game works smoothly for everyone, and yet I'm still waiting.

 

So I want to know why the hell it would take this long (and counting) for a patch to fix the never ending loading screen to online lobbies. I don't care if it's something that is hard to do, it shouldn't take nearly a year. They need to get there heads out of there asses and fix this.

 

TL;DR: I'm pissed off that there is still a never ending loading screen for RSC linked accounts to GTA free-roam lobbies.

Yes lots of people are pissed off with heists taking so long and various bugs.

The Bitch & Moan thread past 100 pages recently. We feel the frustration, but most of us are just over it and enjoying what we can until something happens.

Not a priority cause anyone can fix it themselves by unlinking their account. Inconvenient but minor issue

 

Now god mode p*ssies, nothing you and I can do about that. Major inconvenience since I can't spend time in freeroam anymore. Hopefully they are spending their time working on that

Why the f*ck would I unlink my RSC account? The whole point is for RSC to work with my account or else it wouldn't be readily available.

I have X360, and am connected to RSC.

I haven't had a never ending load screen but It's slow as balls when joining online. Last night I started the game, and almost completely finished making a cappuchino with steamed milk before I got in.

well my psn have been linked to the social club since 2012 and im sure i dont get endless loading...

 

i do have to unlink my account if i want swich characters.

 

since patch .15 i have not being able to enter my female character if th account is linked.

Raging 12 year old? You'd be mad too if you bought a game and it didn't work correctly. There's an expectation that when the game is released it works, and it won't work.

I haven't had problems with freemode taking too long to load since the first week when online was released but I have encountered that "never ending loading screen" bug when I try to join a session, if that's what you're referring to you gotta chill out cuz it's very rare. It's literally only happened to me twice and I've played regularly since release.

I just got the "disconnected from GTA Online" thing twice trying to get online only to be left in the never ending loading screen back to singleplayer. Thanks R* its not like your game takes forever to load anyway

 

*edit* finally was able to drive around a bit but then suddenly disconnected again, now I get to wait again....oh the lovely loading times...

If I turn on gta5 and try to go directly into online mode it does take a while. I just let it load up into single player first, and then switch to my online character. It's def faster using this method. Hope this helps

@ Scaldy78 - I'll try doing it that way.

 

I also just left for 40 minutes to play Civ 5 and came back, and it was still on the loading screen for joining a freeroam lobby.

Going to Story Mode first then switching to GTA Online worked, and it only took like two minutes.
