What should be the consequences for glitching/ modding?

So much butthurt in this thread. All you people who are so hung up on money glitching are sad, sad individuals. Most money glitches harm no one yet so many people act like it's the same as somebody busting a nut on their girlfriends face right in front of them (that is if they have ever been able to convince a member of the opposite sex to sleep with them). You come off as jealous of the people who were smart enough to glitch money instead of wasting hour upon hour grinding the same mission.

 

I for one hope the next patch creates an even easier money glitch than the hooker glitch so y'all can cry even more.

You are absolutely pathetic. Who grinds the same missions over and over? I play the game for fun period. I don't care about the in game currency. I do multiple contact missions, help players lower levels than myself, play TDM or the Hardcore Racing Scenes tracks, the money eventually piles up and you can afford what you want. People with your mindset have absolutely destroyed this game, made modes a barren wasteland.

 

Money glitchers should have their consoles banned PERIOD as well as the modders who grief the lobbies, how is this fair to people who purchase a game and just want to play free from your harassment and lameness!

This is the first of these threads I've come across so I'll give my own opinion.

 

If your going to mod/hack an online game that's made purely for everyone to enjoy and you're doing things to/in the game that griefs others then you should recieve a taste of your own medicine. If you glitch you recieve a ban and simply can't play just to glitch millions while others work for it but this is lenient compared to what should happen to the modders. If you mod you will be placed into what would be called a modder lobby or 'Evil' Sport lobby where nothing but your apartment is enterable (The garage would be locked and only access your vehicles via the mechanic), Thats right nothing but the apartment no shops, No mission markers, No Races, No deathmatches not even simeons annoying car requests or lesters kill targets just a completely empty lobby with nothing else but other players and npc's.

 

BTW the only way to get ammo is to kill cops, gang members or any other violent npc's.

 

However since I described the lobby as being an 'Evil Sport' lobby then there must be something else and there is in each lobby there would be a random npc in god mode with full access to a mod menu, They will follow you and kill you if you start griefing other players, This will also apply to you if you have a bounty. If you come within a certain distance of this npc they will start to pursue you and unless you can outrun them they will continue to chase you. They can't fly or anything they will behave like a normal npc until provoked when they chase you they don't have super speed like cops do they just travel at the highest possible speed that the particular vehicle can reach while maintaining decent handling ability so if the car they hijack is an Infernus or Bullet then your pretty much screwed.

 

If they kill you you will be off the radar when you respawn but only the invincible npc can't see you everyone else can this would last for half a minute, Within this half minute you have a short window to make an escape but if someone else is being chased and they get in the car with you then you will still be chased obviously.

 

This may seem a bit extreme but modders that grief people without giving the victim any control deserve it done back to them, Keep the modding to Invite only sessions or PC when it's released.

We are talking about the money cheaters, not the random glitchers. Using that guy's logic that means 80-99% of the community will get banned.
