Switching Animations

Do you think there should be switching animations? For instance, your character could be walking out of a coffee shop? Of course, you would be able to choose which animations your character uses, and possibly make your own. This could be an option instead of, say, spawning in your apartment or your last location.

Well, I choose to spawn at my garage for a reason; and whilst this idea isn't bad, there's just no need for it, and if Rockstar were going to add new things I'd prefer actual content.

Sadly this... I always spawn in my garage. and tbh I found the animations in SP to be somewhat annoying.

These. I spawn in my garage because I like to pick the vehicle I'd like to drive on that day and it's safe, anyway. Plus, I hate the animations in SP. Only so many times can I deal with switching to Michael only to have him jumping out of bed screaming.

 

I can't think of a reason why we shouldn't have them though, considering we'll be invincible during that animation.

I want my character to appear in the bathroom, like when Trevor appears in the bathroom.

And I want my character to be doing exactly what Trevor is doing in the bathroom.

In the bathroom.

Bathroom.

Room.

I don't like spawning in the middle of street, eating a candy bar, and unable to run away from the speeding npc in a mini cooper and get pasted.

No. I don't like it when my character does the eating/drinking animation as I'm trying to get to my PV.

 

Put the candy bar away and get in the damn car!

 

I would also want the option to disable the animations in single player and have a set location for the characters to spawn.

tbh I found the animations in SP to be somewhat annoying.

^ This. I hate getting thrown at the bottom of the map as Franklin with him wearing plaid suit pants and a hoodie, and Trevor being shirtless with sweatpants at the top of a mountain... I might be more encouraged to switch between singleplayer characters if they didn't get thrown in a random location with randomized clothing 90% of the time you switch to them.

Yes, the only thing more frustrating than a network error, is waiting for one of Michael's scenes to end.

I want this if I choose the random spawn option, and I actually do a lot of the times.

set your spawn location to random. You won't be disappointed.

Every time I switch to Michael he is smoking. Most of the time he is yelling at someone for making him throw away his cigarette (forrest ranger and lifeguard mostly).

If it's an option then not a bad idea, otherwise I would be pissed trying to speed up the process of my character doing whatever when I'm trying to get him to run to his vehicle for the last 20 seconds

No, that sh*t's annoying in SP, would be annoying online. I got rid of my apartment and bought a 10 car garage because i got sick of spawning in the shower

(then i set my spawn to last location because i got tired of spawning in the garage, but thats a different story)

i reckon if i could switch animations on my character i would be pretty happy in factual matters i'd probbbabbbleehly have to spread my asscheeks and bendover and let out theuh most toxic smelling air from my rectum ever i would yes indded i would.
