This happen to anyone else?

So I've just joined a lobby. Everything's fine, driving around in a Pigalle enjoying the view. Decide to go to LS Customs and right before I get there, some hacker spawned me in THE MIDDLE OF THE OCEAN!

 

Yes, I did say MIDDLE OF THE OCEAN. There were 4 people there. 2 normal players, me and the hacker with a bounty on him. I tried easy way out, and I just spawned 10 feet above the water and just fell into it.

 

Anybody have this happen to them?

I have been teleported by a modder/hacker once, not into the ocean but to the golf course.

See, just goes to show that hackers ruining this game. The worst being teleport hackers. But if it is something like the pole dance hack, then it is funny. But spawning someone in the ocean? No. Just... no.

reminds me of the Dayz seagull teleport hack (mod). or the one where everyone is teleported to some spot of the map in a ring and it turns into a mexican standoff. good times looking back, f*cking frustrating at the time.

I don't find the pole dance 'hack' funny; nor do I understand how one is fine with being stuck doing some animation but not fine with spawning in the ocean.

At least you can play online more than 2mins without the game freezing your console. Enjoy the game I haven't been able to enjoy it since patch 1.11. smh... LOL more time for 2k14. Hopefully after this vaccum dust removal process my game will be back to normal. I haven't been able to enjoy GTA since tank sniping was removed.

Well, it's not a hack. An NPC animation. Whatever. And I would be fine stuck doing an animation because I find the animation funny. And of course I wouldn't be fine being stuck in ocean with no way to get out. Who would?

 

And no, don't say "do easy way out" or "call merryweather for boat pickup" because that didn't work.

I have been teleported once - and I was in an invite only session. Hasn't happened since, but I was pretty pissed 'cause I was trying to line-up a shot of some of my muscle cars. I had all three cars where I wanted them and was waiting for good lighting. I rage quit like a mofo that night. I had to catch myself because it was well beyond midnight and I almost woke up the house (my wife, son and dogs).

i have seen only 1 modder back in march causing spontaneous combustion... i tear dropped from my eyes in horror as i had flashbacks of IV...

There's alot of that going on. Alot of Banning too. I'm not playing Public sessions at all. I'd hate to get banned because some D*ck accross the map is crapping out modded money even though I'm nowhere near him. I'm not gonna be collateral damage in the war between R* and modders. I'd suggest leaving any public lobby if any mods or strange things are going on.
