having a deathmatch with target score off is already a huge deterrent for me if it's any longer than 10 minutes, 15 maybe if i'm in the mood.

 

30 minutes + just needs a target score, otherwise it becomes an absolute snooze fest. it can also become really boring if one team gets a ridiculous advantage from the very beginning, or if the teams themselves are small.

 

also why do people even host those damn "9999999 RP + $$$" maps to begin with? i just don't get it.

I still play Deathmatches all of the time (really the only game-mode that is keeping me interested in GTA Online right now), and this does annoy me also; particularly when it is a Map worth playing...

 

My preferred Deathmatch is 10 - 15 mins, no Target score with Owned + Pickups. I play AA but FA quite a bit in DM's so do not like Forced or Forced + Pickups usually as I run out of Ammo too fast,

30 minute Legit Deathmatches are awesome.

The ones that don't have unbalanced weapon placements or tanks stashed away to give one dude the advantage are the ones I enjoy playing for 30+ minutes with no target score.

Legit DMs that last that long are the reason I bought the game. But then again I've learned how to be on top or close to the top in the Kill Chain so that makes them enjoyable to me.

Not implying that the OP isn't good at DMs just saying I find them fun and never boring.

I sat through a 60 minute deathmatch once.

Averaged over 1 kill per minute and maintained a K/D ratio higher than 1.

 

Came in 3rd place out of around 8.

Got barely any money and barely any RP.

 

Would've been nice if the game dumped a half decent reward. Now I'll quit out if I see a huge timer or enourmous target score. Usually 20 mins is a good sweet spot.

honestly why lol, why do these clowns put death matches for 30 minutes without a target score... am i really going to sit there with playing a boring death match for 30 minutes?

 

im just wondering does the payout increase?

 

because normally for 10 minutes winning team makes about 9-11k

 

sometimes we want a challenge, when i host a dm i sometimes set it to 45 - 60 minutes with no target score.

LOL i'm such a dick that....

 

When people don't vote for my map again for the next match, I put the highest minutes with no target score. I think it's like what 60 minutes? And then I just leave the match lol... And then I put forced weapon.

 

I just make it the least fun as a I can ha

 

 

Or if they pick a race, 999 laps LOL.. Or whatever the max laps are

 

It would take less time to select Freemode on the vote screen or quit out, than to piss everyone off.

Crap like this just makes playing the game more annoying.

I also miss 8 lap GTA races where people would get out of the cars to nail your ass.

Joined a demolition derby once, host was the creator, set for forced unarmed 15 minutes. Last second he changes it to 60 minutes, no target, owned and pickups. He quit after ten, after 15 it was me and one other guy. I was way in the lead but getting really bored. Managed to find a way out of the cage arena and just started walking all the way across town towards my apartment, nearly made it when the last guy got tired of looking for me and quit.

 

15 minutes no target, or 20 target with 6 or less, 40 target with full 16 seems about ideal to me.
