Maybe if they added some more crew members they could make it feel more individual. Also more choice to going about the heists. But that's for another day. Do you think R* will keep heists for DLCs or even the next game (be it RDR 2 or GTA 6)? Also do you think they did a good job with the heists? If you knew little to nothing about firing a gun, and you hired as a gunman for a heist with 1,000,000 cops, you're gonna die. Definently. It's expected, it certaintly won't come out this year if you think so. R* are busy with the NG and PC release, and most gamers are gunna be busy with that too, so am I. Sadly, the big SP DLC that we expected isn't gunna come out soon, I lost interest in thinking about it after R* gave so much crap to GTA Online and then released info about NG and PC versions. I always remember the protag having to drive the getaway more often than not. Hell, if Franklin was marketed as "the wheelman" then why wasn't he the driver? Actually they can get better. Pick Norm in the FIB Heist where you come in through the roof. He survives and he's able to be used in the Big One. I'm sure there are others.
