I know this is meant as a witty joke, but the first lesson you learn in game design is that players only play for rewards. The rewards stop coming and they drop the game like a bad habit. Now that everyone has unlocked and bought everything the game has to offer, you can see this happen first hand by just opening your friends list. Ta-dah! Everyone that was playing GTA5 a few months ago, are either offline for 2 weeks or playing games you never knew existed.

 

So not only is this a problem for players, but also for Rockstar. Players not playing the game... take into account the chain reaction when friends notice that no one comes anymore and leave as well, because it is so boring without their friends. This means, no cash card money flowing in which means bad business.

 

A new DLC coming out? Everyone wins. The DLC not coming just means players giving up, frustrated and bored. Rockstar is probably coming up with some way to get rid of the glitch and mod money. I say that casino is looking way better from this perspective. Slap some achievements on the casino so people have to gamble. The economy is restored in no time. Just imagine it. Someone glitched 60 million and gambles half of it away chasing some rare achievement of "getting 3 jackpots" in a row on 3 slot machines or whatever.

·joined RR only to spawn in same lobby, not the mission

·attempted to join a race only to be kicked to single player

·joined another race-network error

·entered race marker, picked join, endless loading screen

·npc car driving on 2 wheels in a race

·everyone left during a race....but I still got first place cash lol.

Where every single person in my friends list used to play GTA online, now no one has touched it in 2 weeks or more. If they want to stop players from dusting up their game discs, they have to act fast. They are losing trust by making promises and breaking them all the time and also keeping quiet too much.

I know thats right. a few months ago at the very least 10 people on my friends list were playing, sometime alot higher. Now there is 2 or 3. Sometimes None. They better get their Sh*t straight because once I get destiny I'm outie, and I have played yesterday and today for the first time since 3 days after Independence. (only to encounter invincible players and cars? yay) My opinion of R* is getting very close to rock bottom. I'd like new stuff and all, but they NEED to get these modders and God mode ppl GONE.

Maybe the story line died after 3. Halo 4's multiplayer is still well done, active and they are plenty of different armors for each class to unlock. Either way I have high hopes for Destiny and I know Bungie will deliver.

Getting alil off topic here but Halo will never be the pheonix we all want it to be because BUNGIE got brought out and all the good DEVS split. 343 studios is a shadow of the once fabled bungie. Facts are 343 dont give a single f*ck about the community whereas bungie wouldnt approve something without the communities input.

 

We can all hope for halo to go back to its roots and hopefully just revamp halo 2 and retake the FPS genre back by force but I just cant see it happening
