How do you imagine Michael Klebitz?

I was going through a TLAD playthrough when I read an email from his brother, Michael, who's in the army. I thought to my self, could he potentially avenge Johnny's death? How do you picture Michael, and do you think he's a character worth expanding on, and if so, how would you do it?

Payne Killer

He might get revenge from Trevor killing johnny. He should be a 6 foot bad ass who kills Trevor with one smash to the skull.

Maybe someone similar to Vic.Vance a bit more bad-ass. Just imagine a GTA concerning a protagonist in the Army, I mean, a game with a complete story inside an Army or something, some corrupt officers, and then, Michael Klebitz will make his presentation kicking everyone's ass. Oh yeah...

I just picture him as a carbon copy of Johnny but in fatigues.

He tries to avenge Johnny but fails and Trevor beats him to death. :miranda:

I think the Klebitz name has been f*cked all to hell by this point, same with The Lost. In the next DLC, Michael Klebitz shows up having left his station now a drunk, and is killed when Trevor's mother accidentally sits on him.

He looks like an older Johnny with hair.

Well all we get are these emails:

[email protected]
key bro

Dear John,
I hope this mail finds you well and happy and law abiding. I doubt the later,
but a brother can hope, can't he? I got shot at yesterday and saw someone have
their leg blown off. I saw three kids die last week. My life is one long orgy
of death and horror. At least I know I am on the right side. I miss you, man.
You have a heart. What about the life you chose led you to make such stupid
choices? Billy Grey? Give me a break. He always was an arsehole. Back in the
neighborhood, he was a jackass thinking he was Jesus on an acid trip when we
were fifteen and you were 10. That was a long time ago. I hope you don't still
look up to that asshole, pardon my f*cking French. You will throw your life
way. For a guy who wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire. I know we've been
over this a thousand times, but my life is kind of stressful right now.
Look after yourself,
Mikey

<email - positive reply>

Thanks for your input Mikey. I miss you, man. I think about you, but I made
different choices to you. Doesn't seem like either of our choices panned out so
good. We both get shot at. And both of us are fighting other people's battles.
Look after yourself. John.

<email - negative reply>

Blah, Blah, Blah. At least I know what I'm fighting for. Look after yourself.
John.

RE:hey bro

John,
You always were a smart ass with all the answers. I have a country. You have
nothing. Mom and Dad were right about you, you smug little sh*t. I will f*ck
you up when I see you. Mark my words. Disrespecting me like that. And my
country. My country. I've seen men die for that sh*t, you junkie piece of sh*t.
And happily. You would only die for drugs or money. You're a rat, not a man.
Your brother,
Mikey

<email - positive reply>

I love you too bro. And out of a place of love I make one comment - you get on
some very strong medication to deal with the fact you've lost your f*cking
mind, you messianic dip sh*t.

<email - negative reply>

Whoa. Dude? You should talk to a head doctor.

Below the "+++", I don't think I ever received those, even after giving him both replies. Maybe those were cut from the game.

While he's probably a hulking war machine like Johnny, he seems to be someone like Francis Mcreary, trying to convince himself he's a good person; though he's been messed up growing up around the violence and Johnny's drug-addled friends in Liberty. I imagine him not giving too much of a hoot, let alone being surprised if he was informed of Johnny dying. Again, much like how Packie, Gerry, or Kate reacted for Francis/Derrick dying.

I disagree with you. Mike's initial approach seems to be very caring, but perhaps that's just from my perspective. If he's an honorable man, serving his country, someone with values - yes, he;d react to Johnny's death. the age gap between Derrick (who I consider canon) and Gerald is pretty big. Not even mentioning the 25 year old Packie, and 30 year old Kate. Notice how Packie reacts when Kate is murdered as opposed to Derrick and you will see what I mean.

I don't think Packie was 25. IIRC he was 29 or 28

He reacts that way to Kate because she was the innocent one. He was always trying to protect her, while he knew he and his brothers were bad people not worth living.

How would I imagine Michael Klebitz? A cross somewhere between Max Payne and Vic Vance.

He'll take a hard line with Johnny's choice of a lifestyle and probably have a stern word in his ear when he sees Johnny in the flesh but there's no way on his watch Michael would let things progress beyond a certain point without him intervening.

That's why I'll always think the only reason Johnny descended into such a drug-addled state was self destruction out of Michael's death somewhere between 2008-2013. Realising in death what a strong man of morals his brother was shows Johnny just what a pointless, pissant life he's led and makes him weak for the pipe... IDK.

Michael K strikes me as an idealist. Johnny wanted to be in the army too but didn't because of the corruption. I get the impression that Michael K has hit a wall and is coming to a sad realisation that maybe Johnny was right all along but he won't ever admit it because it would destroy all he believes in. That's why his second reply is so dramatically different from the first because both of Johnny's replies hit a nerve by questioning what the hell Michael was fighting for.

I'd also say he dies before Johnny does and is yet another reason Johnny turns to meth.

Oh and DC the reply is definitely in the game still

Lemoyne outlaw

i can imagine it like a western.set one year after gta 5 story when michael finds out johnnys dead he travels to blaine county to search for trevor at the same time trevor finds out johnny had a brother and hes gunning for him. trevor is not scared but is warned he is a good shot as he was in the army. still not scared. then michael pulls up to trevors house. trevor!! he screams. what do you want barked trevor? you killed my brother i demand satisfaction. ok ill come out but i dont play fair.said trevor. he comes out michael goes on the other side of the road and waits for trevor he comes out with a ak 47. why do you use such a weapon? ill use my pistol. he pulls out a revolver that was his great grandfathers that fought in the civil war killing yankees. they stand there both waiting epic western music blaring after a minute of epic music they shoot michael draws his revolver from his holster but trevor is shooting his op ak. after the dust settles both bodies lay on the ground ron and wade comes out crying that trevor is dead. they burry the boddies on boot hill looking over sandy shores. the credits roll and all the gta fans are thinking wtf am i watching whoever came up with this crap is old school and there right. they go back to blaring rap music. sorry i got carried away i watch alot of westerns
