Wow! I've got a request for you guys! If some of you know how to model and UV map tell me because the cars in the mod don't match/fit with game atmosphere! I have got some ideas for cars!

 

The particular game I was showing there is Body Harvest, by the very familiar DMA Design - I actually own a cartidge of it. I don't know if anyone can actually rip models from it, and bear in mind that the game did not have that many cars in it - and they did not even have complicated animations, or appear in any flowing traffic. Man, 5th generation was primitive.

Plus, they were completely different vehicles that ones you'd expect - WW1-era Greece, US in the 1960s, Russia in the 90s, and so on.

But I guess someone could model cars in the same style.

I like the idea for the cars, but the trees are kind of horrendous because it doesn't really for GTA III's atmosphere. Just the textures being downgraded with a 256-color style look would be nice. But the mod still gives me nostalgia

Its dead, no ifs ands or butts... its been dead for the longest time and has rotted to the point where the stench lingers on its maimed corpse as maggots digest whatever is left of skin and tissue...

Hey guys! I´m back! Since the topic is dead for 2 months I came here to say the mod is still alive!

I´m glad to tell you the release is in the next week (Sunday, 31 of May).

Some features:

-Vanilla cars with different textures.

-50% retextured Portland

-Peds with new textures

I will see what I can do about extracting N64 assets... no promises but ima give it a shot...

 

if this is going to become a true GTA 3 N64 mod, then its better to just stick to N64 styled models and textures

I am not trying to be an asshole, this is just a different modder's opinion, but all I heard from you on Skype about your mod is 'i need ppl, sobb i need u help, can sumone help me nd me mod?'. Nobody is gonna help you if you are not even interested to learn something. Learn to do something, atleast props/trees, and people MIGHT help you, and you will have better modeling experience.

 

Again, this is just a different modder's opinion, so it's your choice if you will follow it or not. :)

Jinx is right. It's your mod. It isn't community work or something.

Try editing data files,lower the draw distance, remove some props. Don't you just retexture. EVERYONE from the modding section knows how to retexture.

And who says that I dont edit data files?

Im now learning how to change timecyc! Plus in the older version carcols are changed too!

Sorry but the I didnt had time to release the mod...i needed to study for the final exams! Next week will be released for sure! Sorry again

the cars are so much better now! The cars are now accurate and correct. Now you need to just do that same thing for the map and it will be AMAZING
