Blade Vs Dominator

Max speed = Dominator

Handling = Gauntlet

Acceleration = Blade

I use the Dominator, but the 3 cars are balanced.

blade is better for corners, dominator is better for straights. dominator is much cheaper to buy.

You're mixed up there.

The Blade corners like sh*t simply cause it's a Gasser, the Dominator can corner better, but gets slidey.

no im not. the blade grips like crazy around corners. no sliding at all. the dominator is better for straights.

The reason it "grips" so well around corners is because it has immense understeer.

Short tracks: Blade

Long tracks: Dominator

Off-Road areas: Gauntlet

I prefer the Dominator and Gauntlet myself, usually the Gauntlet as it can take a bit more punishment from Contact. I'd rather fight oversteer than understeer.

I know it's likely been said. But if you want to choose a custom car for muscle class races, the Gauntlet is superior on every attribute.

Also the Gauntlet is the only one that isn't ugly af.

But between the two listed in OP, as long as price isn't a factor, the Blade wins.

I have both a Blade and a Dominator and I use the Blade for races with lots of turns as the acceleration is better and then use the Dominator for the straighter types of races as the speed is better.

Both cars are the top performers in the muscle car class, but they aren't the easiest to handle.

The Dominator suffers from oversteer, and can be unstable and unpredictable. But I find that oversteering cars give you more freedom in choosing a line.

The Blade suffers from understeer, but it won't slide out on you as much. It feels like driving the Rapid GT.

I prefer the Dominator since I've had it longer and am more used to it.

Edit: Oh, and I'd avoid the Gauntlet. It was good when GTA Online first launched, but after the spoilers increased traction, the Gauntlet just can't compete with the Blade or Dominator. I got rid of mine.

To all the people who say the Dominator has better handling than the Blade, can I have what you're smoking?

The Blade corners really well for a muscle car; easily better than the Dominator. Furthermore it has very good acceleration, although on a long straight a Dominator will overtake you easily.

In summary. if you're playing Long Haul 2, you'll want a Dominator, and if you're playing a track with corners, such as many 'GP' type tracks, the Blade is what you want.

I used to own a Dominaor, and IMO it was a P.O.S, but then again if a car has unpredictable handling I generally really don't like it,. It's the sort of car that randomly spins for no f*cking reason sometimes; and in a racing environment I find predictable handling to be a major asset.

Blade is the fastest for racing mate. No argument. The other two are close but blade will always pull the fastest lap time.

Need to be a good driver to handle both cars, blade is so much better because passing a corner at high speed and taking the turn early so you make it through at high speed and doesn't slide as bad as most muscle cars make it an incredible vehicle. takes off quicker, is quicker.

Dominator is a great vehicle but maybe for looks and dominator fanatics, not so much competition for the blade.

Sadly dominator sounds better.

personally, i use the Ruiner for muscle class. heres one thing to always keep in mind: there is no 'best' car in each class. in comes down to how you drive and what youre comfortable with.

-the dominator has amazing top speed, but gets tail happy if you gas it through corners.

-the blade sticks to the ground so much that i have trouble getting the rear to slide at all, but it has such a wide turning radius, you have to brake more and take corners wider. great acceleration, low top speed

-the gauntlet is a bit of a mix, doesnt excel in either category, but does well in both - leaning more towards speed.

-the ruiner, similar to the gauntlet is also a mix of both - leaning towards handling.

There is, although not necessarily in the muscle class, but definitely when it comes to coupes, sports, supers, sedans, bikes etc, there is the 'best', which is a fact to due the actual statistics, and then there's preference.

I agree with your point somewhat in the fact that the statistically 'best' vehicle in its class is not always the most suited for you; for example the Zentorno is easily the best supercar, but I don't like it, I use the Entity XF (which is second best) because it's my preference and I do very well in it.

But to say that the Entity XF is better than the Zentorno is not true.

but the entity is better than the zentorno for you in particular. thats the point i was trying to relay. the supposed 'best in class' car may suck if it doesnt match your driving style. for me, i can NOT use the elegy, which is by far the best sports car. i find it so unpredictable - sliding when i think it shouldnt, and not sliding when i think it should causing me to compensate and crash.
