Snacks. How useful are they?

When you're on cover and botched a tear gas throw (landed near you), snacks are very valuable.

I use them during missions to replenish my health bar.

When you go into the snack menu do you have scroll down before you can eat?

 

I do and its got me killed a few times.

I find them very useful. I don't need them all of the time, but I sure as hell make sure I am fully stocked. It sucks when you get caught off guard without snacks. Snacks can be the difference in a mission if your stuck with a bunch of Rambo wannabes.

Snacks are very useful.

Especially the mission Handle With Care, I used to go and kill the baddies in the boats before delivering the other boats (you have to kill all the bad guys at the dock house first before they show up), but now I just leave the interaction menu open on the snacks and I eat the Egochaser when they shoot me almost to nothing. My good friend just told me about this other day.

 

One of the things I didn't see anyone bring up is that we should be able to refill snacks and armor inventory right before Deathmatches and Survivals. I like to grind survivals as well and eventually I end up having to go back to free mode to refill my goodies.

Snacks are great. Sometimes, I'm kinda hungry, but not really hungry enough to eat an entire meal... so snacks come in real handy in situations like that. Plus, I don't have to sit at a table to eat a snack... I can eat it at work, driving in the car, walking down the sidewalk... anywhere really. And, even better, there's usually no mess to clean up... no dishes to wash. Quick and easy. How can anyone not see snacks as useful?

I feel like snacks are one of the more overlooked items in GTA Online. Do you find them helpful/useful?

Yes I always use them as they are very useful. Snacks FTW!

One of the most useful things in the entire game. I can't count how many times I've seen my teammates in missions die when they could've easily survived by using snacks. You can replenish your health in less than a second by taking cover or driving, so you don't have to wait for an animation to happen. If you're being chased while driving, eating/drinking the stuff is close to god mode as the enemies will shoot dozens of bullets without killing you.

very.. Specially if you're low level and have little armor..

top tip: go into cover and you can use them virtually instantly and repeatedly.. Puts yr energy up real quick...

 

I can never get this to work. It seems very simple...but my guy seems very incapable of multi-tasking.

Do I just set "eat snack" as my trigger button action, go into cover, push down on both thumbsticks?

Very, I didnt bother reading the replies but a tip would be to use them while in cover and hold for about half a second< really quick health reboost and you get the most out of them

 

get used to holding select and choosing the snacks then whatever amour you have
