Apart from the surano and comet what's good about those other cars.

 

The Futo's a really good drifting car, and can actually haul some pretty big ass.

The Rapid GT's one of the faster sport's cars

The Schwartzer, While I don't own one, I have driven one, and it's not like it's slow.

The Surano is underrated; I hardly see anyone else use it in races. I often beat Massacros in mine.

Minor thread drift (lazy pun!), but I was doing a bit of random Googling (quit giggling at the back, you lot...), and found this - I thought it looked familiar, somehow:

 

 

 

Anyways, yeah - agree that the Surano's an underrated performer. Upgrades particularly well, too - I found it a little oversensitive to begin with (compared to the Elegy), but like how the Massacro's got a bit of coupe 'slide' you need to get used to, once you compensate for the Surano's handling, it does a great job, and it's a viable racer.

 

Same goes for the Coquette, particularly on tracks with tight turns or even 180-degree hairpins - it's got a great 'braking/acceleration' combination, which allows you to skid to a total stop, then sprint off in a new direction very quickly, while other cars slide around and struggle to regain momentum. Granted, in a straight-line race it's just not as powerful as the top-tier cars, but it's responsive enough to be decently competitive.

I'll give you the Futo for drifting but the others aren't great.The schwartzer is terrible.You might be thinking of the 4 door shafter but the schwartzer is dreadfully slow.I like Aston but the rapid gt is just plain slow.Plus it looks like an Aston Martin that's been hit in the face with a shovel.And the Banshee although it looks nice, is really slow and dull.If you like the cars that's fine but they're not really underrated,they're just not that good.

On topic - a Prenumbra is the most underrated because it's a coupe in the wrong class, but I digress I suggest the Banshee, very fast and good overall stats, but underrated because youtubers hit a street curb with it and instantly make hate videos about its terrible performance

None of them are underrated. They are all rated where they generally end up performance wise for track racing. Elegy and Massacro top tier, Jester and Feltzer close behind, followed by a toss up between the Surano, 9f, Comet, followed by a toss up on certain tracks between the Sultan, Coquette, and Carbonizzare, and then you have the rest.

 

The spoiler update transformed the cars, but the effects were seen pretty much equally across the board so none of the ranking changed. Some cars like the Sultan, and Jester are great handling, but are held back purely by acceleration. The Comet is a handful to handle and is probably the hardest car to master consistently. The Carbo and Coquette, and especially Rapid Gt are held back purely by their lack of traction and grip.

 

Get the car that you want, get used to its handling and just enjoy it. Or you can buy all of them like I did and just go out with whatever one you have a taste for.

 

Oh, one more thing, the Alpha is also surprisingly decent, don't count it out. I'd place it around the Sultan tier.

9F is severely underutilized and it doesn't put you at a severe disadvantage either. No pic of mine atm. Banshee is just more fun and a better looker IMO.

I don't know why you guys rate the elegy so high its so unstable when pushing it to the limit esp. on uneven terrain it loves snap into oversteer and this is why I trust my rwd Massacro so much more.

You're mistake is expecting a track car to be stable on uneven terrain, let alone at the limit. Throttle control is key.

Fusilade would be my 'underrated' pick - it's a cheap car you can get off the road, not terribly exciting, but you can actually be competitive with it provided the other players aren't awesome themselves.

You're mistake is expecting a track car to be stable on uneven terrain, let alone at the limit. Throttle control is key.

 

True it just seems like everyone says its the easiest car to use when actually if you make any mistakes with cornering you end up spinning totally out of control while rwd cars are so much easier to correct. I race a lot with many good racers and even they miscalculate the Elegy sometimes when trying to keep up. On a perfect run though the Elegy is unmatchable.
