Money Lobbies And Money Glitches Holding DLC Back

As Franceska pointed out in another thread, we haven't received any DLC thus far. The only things we have received are updates with fancy names.

Please explain this to me. DLC stands for downloadable content, correct? To get your "updates with fancy names" it requires you to download content, correct? How is content you download not downloadable content?

Although rockstar has said nothing. If the DLC was delayed (Might not have been planned to be released today for all we know) then it was probably because of the hackers so rockstar could add a patch to stop them when the DLC is released.

Half of the time, it's rockstar's fault. If their updates would quit having money loopholes and other bugs, then guys wouldn't be doing this sh*t. Not to mention, its been 316 days without heists since gta online was released. They have had plenty of time in between stupid glitches (which are usually their own damn fault) to give us what was supposed to be in the game at launch. Quit making excuses for them. They keep nerfing payouts for missions because they want heists to have more of a financial impact in the game, but the problem is that they keep delaying the f*cking heists. Another thing, if all these glitches were so time consuming for rockstar to deal with, how in the f*ck do they have time to keep bringing out bullsh*t updates that have a few cars, some clothes, and a gun or the other holiday crap? No, you guys keep blaming glitchers, but the real problem is rockstar and their own desire to make us wait. You watch, when the next gen version of the game comes out, next gen will get the heists for free, and old gen will have to pay for them (or may not even have access to them at all).

 

I'm obviously venting, but I could be wrong. Maybe heists are just going to be so awesome that it really did take rockstar all this time to push them out =P

Yeah, and If glitching really did delay content, then we would've never even gotten the Beach Bum DLC if it were true. People really need to get out of that stupid "Glitching delays content" mindset.

No, hes right. This isn't DLC. This is mandatory updates. The Atomic Blimp is DLC, the Collectors edition content is DLC, the stuff we've been getting from R* lately has been mandatory updates. It's mandatory to download those updates to play online. DLC is optional content that isn't required.

Technically speaking. I have a 50/50 chance of being stuck up there for a minute when I join jobs Alone, then when it stops loading, I get shoved into a job all by myself with the game showing me a player who left... either that, or get kicked back into story more. ._.

Thank you, atleast a few people on this forum have sufficient comprehension skills. I'm not going to get into flame wars with others who need the explanation. People are mad about this morning and have every right to be. For one they are taking the leakers too seriously. The bottom line is R* releases these updates when they are ready to. But if everyone else wants to call these "updates" DLC, well they can call it whatever they like .

If we're going to see an update at all I think it will be on the anniversary (thats about 7 weeks from now) and I'm hoping that will be the heists. It makes sense to me, do something big for your 1 year you know? I think all of this sh*t in the mentime is just hype and youtube kids. I've been playing a lot the last month. When I don't get dropped (which is pretty much all of the time) the game is really really fun, but due to too many drops in the middle of missions, deathmatches, or races, I'll probably take a break until next update

Thats terrible man and you got xbox as well right? Ive been getting more random ass errors as of lately like character no. 2 cannot be loaded, R* services are down, and sometimes get stuck in the clouds as well. I think they are too busy sitting on their hands and getting high off of that billion they made to even give a f*ck anymore.

not saying it would 100% prevent it, as there will always be people out there who try to hack the game - but if rockstar wouldnt have nerfed all mission / job payouts into the ground, people would have less incentive to find these money glitches/mods. theyve literally taken everything that made good money/rp and nerfed it - followed by releasing DLC that makes all the cars more than 3x as expensive as they should be. rockstar is shooting themselves in the foot

OT: DLC will be released when R* is ready and not a minute before. Granted there are numerous things that need fixing, but one month is not so long to wait for something to happen.

Haven't been on in over two weeks, and man it does feel good, I gotta keep up with life and watching LOST, so really not having an update is better for me

 

It's all about deciding who's gonna be the next person in charge of the island after Jacob gets killed by his brother's scheming caused Ben to stab him. He does this by making himself appear as Locke, who had recently died at that point. His brother can't kill him himself, and isn't really a person since Jacob put his body inside the heart of the island and he emerged as the now familiar "smoke monster".

 

I don't know how far you are into it, but the last season explains all this, mixed in with a load of crap about them being "off the island". Yes, they're off the island. They're in a waiting area, or purgatory, and they all remember their times together on the island and then leave to go to heaven.
