greentapir Posted August 12, 2014 Share Posted August 12, 2014 I was racing today and the race went across a train track. The 1st place guy got across then a train came. What is the point of having trains exist in a race, they are only unfair. Do they go away if you turn off traffic? I have an over 2.00 w/l as opposed to the other guy who was lower level with like a 0.166. I was steady closing the gap between me and the other guy and we were about halfway through a 68 checkpoint point to point. So... shut up you were not a witness to what was happening. If anything Rockstar should have a hazard option along with the other things like slipstream and traffic. And if they added the option they could make more random hazards along with train. Then we would have the best of both worlds and I would be happy and you would be happy. And it was pretty amusing the other guy made it across and I got the front of my car hit hard and knocked back to where i was coming from. That's why they won't allow people to store vehicles they want either. Train races would just be like drag races. Or maybe off the train tracks races which would be pretty ridiculous. Are you sure that they spawn when Traffic is turned off? Why can't we race trains?! Rockstar doesn't like fun. That's why they won't allow people to store vehicles they want either. Train races would just be like drag races. Or maybe off the train tracks races which would be pretty ridiculous. I'd kill for a deathmatch centered around a 15-car train. I encountered a train again on the same race i made it past, but the guy behind me went from being like 7 seconds behind to 25 seconds behind. I want cars to dodge, but not a train blocking the race. greentapir Posted August 13, 2014 Author Share Posted August 13, 2014 (edited) it was a race i made, so i could implement a jump but then i would also have to change the path a lot so that there is a straight away before the track, but i just want yes traffic no trains. lol how would you go around it you gotta go under or over it since its traveling left to right or vice versa relative to the racer.
