I wouldn't mind music over someone's mic if they were blasting some good rock/classic rock and if they have a good mic. Unfortunately most folks that I have ran into that blast their music do not have a good mic and I do not like their choice in music (most are sh*t rap songs...sh*t rap songs = every other word being n*gga). Luckily this is a problem easily corrected. Blaring bad music does give me a reason to hunt you down though.

You say you got more likers than haters? Out of 15 players (excluding you) 2 liked it and 1 disliked it, the other 12 players kept quiet?

 

Anyways, if you (@ everyone) are not a troll, please don't play your music over your mic. Not everyone shares your taste or wants to get a tumor in the ears due to the bad sound quality.

Well its annoying to say the least but as i muted someone listening to bieber (im assuming he was trolling(** well im hoping))

I thought to myself what If I was that asshole. So i grabbed my USB and started pumping my sounds straight into my mic and to my surprise I actually got more likes than haters. I was playing black sabbath, Iron maiden, Metallica, acdc and some other rock songs and people (older) actually enjoyed it and said it fits the theme of the game.

 

It took me awhile to put this playlist together awhile back and I was wondering if anyone else has the same sort of thing where they made a playlist basically for GTA. If you do what styles/artist do you prefer?

 

Personally I have about 3/4 pumping for gunfights ands nail biting races but then i have some lynard skynard and more relaxing sounds to chill out and cruise on my bagger.

I don't have the world figured out, but hey, neither do you man. It's cool to like what you like, and fine to not like what you don't like, but don't put a false label on it. Alot of modern rap is actually pretty good, it just seems that you don't try hard to look for it, since it really isn't. And yes, I respect the classics, but I'm more of a Electronic/Chillwave guy.

I once opened up youtube on my laptop, opened up a video of the full Emotion 98.3 station from GTA VC, and turned it up to full blast(have good quality speakers connected). Here were the results:

This seems to be a regular occurrence on GTAO (and other online games). I don't normally condone the use of modding to harass others but if you come into my lobby with music blaring over your mic, I may just ruin your time in that session.

While I would love to hear the godly art on the "Master of Puppets" album, it isn't fair to those who prefer crap like Taylor Swift or Nicki Minaj, for example.

That's such a bullsh*t statement, you obviously don't know much because not every hip-hop artist is like that, yes mostly the mainstream ones are, there's plenty of good rappers out there that stay true to original hip-hop.

The point I was trying to make is that there's a huge difference between mainstream rap, and original hip-hop. And that all genres of music has horrible artist affiliated with it. (Some maybe more than others) Maybe I worded my sentence wrong earlier but you should get the idea now.

I'm sure I know more about rap/hip hop than you. I was around for the start of hip hop, I'm an 80's baby and grew up on that. Now I can't stand it, and I hate listening to it. Just search and look for rappers you might not listen to and you'll see what I'm talking about.
