Am I the only one who disables my mic before I put my own music on? (As I have a bad habbit, see I have this awesome sound system that is high end (though almost 15 years old), that is so loud, you can feel the floor, windows, and even hear the doors rattling when it's on to my preferred level)

I use the AirMusic app and just listen through my headset.

 

 

I can't do that, if music sounds low quality, I can hear it and it bugs the heck out of me now, I can't even listen to music in a car because of the poor quality speakers it makes me cringe.

Mine actually sounds pretty good. I have the fortune of having a headset with pretty good speakers.

There's two three ways to get on my hate list fast when it comes to mics:

1. Constantly spouting 'nigga'.

2. Singing and or mic echo.

3. Your music. I don't have your music on my end of the speakers, so I don't want to hear it on your side.

I love Los Santos Rock Radio. It's real music rather than that crap played on Radio Los Santos or whatever the children playing Online are listening to these days.

But seriously though, I really have an issue with this at the minute because turning chat to "no-one" does not work. It will stop chat for a few minutes and then it's all back again. I can mute people individually, but that too stops working after a while and it obviously only mutes the people in the session at that time. 5 minutes later when some other R&B douche 12 year old comes in I have to stop playing and manually go mute them as well.

 

In fact, I'm gonna post on R* support about it as it really does annoy the crap out of me!

It's pretty weird. For me personally, it's the lyrics mixed with a child in the video that make it weird. I don't know what they intended, but it comes of as molester-ish. I still like the song itself though.

I dont listen to any music during play. Even muted in game radio so I dont have copyright issueswhen I make videos. I keep my mic and sound settings to everyone though because you never know when someone might say something you actually need to hear. Anyone that plays music over mic or in general sounds like they have not hit puberty yet just makes me switch sessions...its not worth the effort to mute them.

Honestly, it is absolutely disrespectful and intrusive for people to do that. I don't give a damn if I like the music or hate it... I didn't choose to listen to what you're playing, so I shouldn't have to be ear-raped just bc you wanna hear "Lil Boosie", or "Hank Williams Jr.", or "Evanescence", or whoever the hell it is you wanna listen to. Put your earphones on, and stop being a dick. Who the hell are you supposed to be, Hot 107 or some sh*t?

That being said, it doesn't really matter to me anyway, bc I don't use a headset unless I'm in a private party with my friends, and they aren't ear-raping dicks.
