What Is The Point Of Having So Many Events And Game Modes When....

You literally cannot find anyone playing a parachute job, versus, capture, raid, contend game modes.

If you search for a race its either going be a "Press R2 button for long time" (highway) races or a race where its stupid jumps

Deathmatch is even worse you only get thrown in someone's sh*tty deathmatch where the host can get weapons and others can't

Why doesn't nobody play arm wrestling, darts, or gun range mini-game? And yes I know the payouts are as cheap as Mr.Krabs but hey, you can still have fun playing them, I know I did but I rarely get to play these modes..

Does anybody else here feels that there's no point in having these other modes because nobody plays them?

Because most people are camping outside of LSC waiting for you to come out and blow you up. Heartless bastards.

What they NEED to do is make things pay more and give more RP with your rank and time you invest in the activities, as well as balance the job payouts in general. That way, maybe RR wouldn't be spammed as often and other more fun missions could actually be played.

Maybe have a thing where if you play a mission over and over, the pay slowly goes down $1000 at a time, and it resets every day you play back to its orginal pay.

For deathmatches, maybe pay the amount of ammo costs back + the extra cash for how the player did.

Also, improve the matchmaking, because as it stands right now, it seems that open jobs with a bunch of people get more priority than jobs with no people in them, when it SHOULD be the other way around.

Add a player created job filter to stop joining the spammy and bad jobs when you choose quick join.

Captures only fill up when they double the cash. Its a shame, when i recall the GTA 4 multiplayer days.

Ever since the leaked Heists icons showed a parachute, ive been playing them more and its usually me and some other guy, which is fine since i need to get my record repectable. I want to be an all around Heist crew member. I want to specialize in everything. From sniper to hacker to paratrooper.

Why have fun when you have to make money?

Having to grind the same handful of missions to get money has taken all of most peoples time and they cant play the fun missions because they are tired of playing or have other responsibilities.

My experience is that no one is simply patient enough to wait for their job lobby to fill up. And the people that join aren't patient either.

People mostly (including the host) quit a job lobby after waiting in there less than even a full minute.

I have no patience either, spend too much time waiting in the game as it is! (I'm not really that bad, but it does get old)

So what I use is On Call.

Go "On Call" for an event type you want, when it's about to launch you'll join in - just hope the host didn't hit play really early :/

i play all the modes sometimes but freeroam is the bread and butter of gta...

R* should really give some love to freeroam, give us something meaningful to do.

There are a lot of reasons, but the primary reason is tons of little kids would rather kill unsuspecting bystanders than take their chances in a death match. Getting the advantage over someone in free roam will mean a ton of kills, where in other modes there is a lot more going on and success is harder to come by. That and missions can be repeated indefinitely. If you could only play missions a certain amount of time there would be more people playing other modes. And then there is the creator, don't know how many people do it but it would make sense that there are a lot of people that make stuff in the creator just to fart around with friends. But mostly endless free roam death matches, combined with money glitches and mission grinding.

Try changing your privacy settings if you are on Xbox. Helps for DM's and races a lot. I find parachute lobbies pretty regularly actually.

people suck, it was pretty much the same with gta 4

anything more complicated than drive really fast or point this end to kill stuff seems to be too much for most players.

The solution Rockstar MUST implement are varying Lobbies.

GTA has fantastic modes Capture ( some Rockstar maps are poor however ) Team Death Match and Racing, but instead of consolidating the lobbies, they should be split completely.

In a Death Match Lobby only Death Matches and Team Death Matches will be available on the map and cycled in the Replay/Refresh screen and received by phone through other players. In a Race Lobby only Races will be available on the map, run in the refresh screen and this way by varying the Lobbies Rockstar can look into the positive creator content, better identify the death traps made be ignorant players and have them banned and promote the users who are trying.

Contact Missions can only be received when the user switches to the free roam lobby.

To be honest missions is the only mode I truly enjoy. That I'm poor or rich I almost only did missions. If I want a death match I just go in freeroam and drive my gold and chrome adder. I do races too, but barely any. I'm not a fan of minigames or sidequest which is about 95% of the whole gta online.

Because all those game modes are f*cking ass, no one wants to play none of their bullsh*t side games that they f*cking wasted their time developing. Bitchass rockstar.

To be fair and I'm not trying to be a dick but, just because they don't accept your invite doesn't mean they don't play it. They just don't play it with strangers.

I tend to unintentionally play dirty when I race. I rarely pay attention to my mini map, I start to turn just as the person is passing and they get pit maneuvered I crack up and they act like I did it intentionally.

They have darts? I really don't like DM or capture. If I wanted to play either I would go play battlefield, COD, or some other FPS. Tennis and Golf can be fun with friends

Honestly, most players could give a ratsa*s about missions or anything else.

People don't grind Rooftop Rumble for the hell of it, its for the cash to buy cars to drive in and support their habits in freeroam.

You're not going to hear this, especially on here, but freeroam is where it's at.

This is me for the most part. I do a lot of free roam stuff but mostly invite only. Simeon cars, HPVs, Steal Cars for LSC, Armored Trucks, rob stores, Lester target missions. Then spam Random Contact Mission (also known as Rooftop Rumble playlist w/ a sprinkle of other missions).

There is so much to do in free roam besides kill other players. Its sad more people don't play golf or tennis or teach each other to arm wrestle. Go to the movies, change clothes, hang out at the garage and talk about cars, go offroading, sail a boat, bmx a hiking trail, close proximity jump old man's crack and someone fly's u back up after...

This game is so boring

I nearly completely agree. Some of my most memorable games have been either captures or versus missions. I much prefer them to anything else. But there doesn't seem to be anyone else interested in them unfortunately. They should do more on incentives like double cash on captures. That brought the crowds to the good games.

They must grind it cause they like it, there are other missions that can be done faster and will give you higher $ & RP

Well that would be because I think the invite system is horrible. It only invites people from your lobby or something. I mean why it can`t be like in CoD for example? You pick a gamemode that you want to play and it throws you in a lobby with others who want to play it. That way it would be much easier to play something like TDM or races.

I agree people just wanna play them piece of sh*t 1,000,000RP & Cash maps. That's why I can't play my creations anymore because I'm too creative.

Crappy matchmaking aside, this has been my experience too.
