American Viking
No, he needs to remain out of the GTA universe or soon you guys will be asking for Max Payne too, or for them to link the RDR universe with GTA's.

90sGTA
I would love to see Jimmy at least make a cameo appearance in a GTA game. IMO, Gary should be the protagonist of a future GTA game though.
GTA-Biker
I always thought Bully was set in the 50s. i always thought it was definitely in the past, but i dont think so far as the 50's. Possibily the 70's or the 80's. it makes sense, it doesn't look like present day. I´ve heard somewhere that they designed the setting for Bully to look like just some generic decade that anyone could relate to. If I had to guess I would say it´s somewhere in the 90s (cars seem to be from 80s or older, there are some old 90s computers in the library,Jimmy´s digital camera seems to be from around the 90s,kids are playing arcade video games, nobody mentions anything about stuff that became widely used in the 21st century like cell phones or internet...) PhillBellic
At this stage in time, I'd prefer him to stay in the Bully'verse.

Algonquin Assassin
I believe Bully is set just before the new millennium 1998/1999, but R* have never confirmed the exact year.
KarimNTerr
I believe Bully is set just before the new millennium 1998/1999, but R* have never confirmed the exact year. Yeah, the setting remains very unclear: the School Library has a couple of vintage, monochrome-screen computers from the 70's-80's, vehicles are from the 80's and 90's, if you play the Future Street Race 2195 and Future Street Race 3D arcade games, the title screens will say "1995", school sports flags show the school as champions as recently as 1998-1999, a poster can be seen in the Jock Clubhouse that dates to 2005, and another to 2007. The year 2007 can be seen on notices on the wall of the Boys' Dorm, and a line of Bryce Montrose's dialogue suggests that the game specifically takes place after the 90's. Additionally, two desktop computers that resemble computers seen in the 90's and early 2000's can be found in the basement bedroom of Dragon's Wing Comics, and much, much more. So, it's possible the game is set in the late 2000's, and not in the 90's. Maybe, the game is full of anachronisms and continuity errors, or Rockstar Vancouver just didn't bother giving the game a precise setting. The game has a strong 90's feeling, though. BrownBear
I guess I always associated with the 50s because of the Greaser characters, the game always kind of reminded me of Grease.
007_eleven
I feel like out of all the characters in Bully the one most likely to make a cameo in GTA is Petey as an incorruptible congressman who ends up either assassinated, blackmailed or the president of the united states. As minor references preppies may also make good business exec's that you hear about screwing the economy, the jocks being major football stars or the cheerleader as a deadbeat crackwhore. The character "Chip" in the GTA V movie meltdown reminds me of a Bully character, maybe they used an old voice actor or something. Zello

But seriously, Gary would make a great protagonist for GTA.
ROCKSTAR MANIC
That would be great. Just as a side character. Maybe a little older though, you know, R* with all that banned kid stuff in GTA.
GTA-Biker
I think they could definitely add or at least mention some characters from Bully in some GTA game in the future. Townies and bullies could grow up to become some small time thugs or maybe even turn their cliques into street gangs, and greasers could also become small time thugs or maybe even turn into a biker gang (they were already riding bicycles and wearing leather and denim jackets,so when they grow up they could just get chopper motorcycles instead of bicycles and put patches on the back of their jackets). They could also mention some preppies as politicians or rich businessmen, jocks as famous athletes or nerds as nobel prize winning scientists on the news on the radio. Jimmy Hopkins could maybe make an appearence in a cutscene or maybe even ask a protagonist to help him do something in a random encounter, but as I said in one of the earlier posts a few months ago,I don´t really see him as a mass murderer gunning down gangsters with an AK47.He was a tough kid who could stand up to bullies, bully other kids or do some petty crime like vandalism or bicycle theft, but he didn´t seem like a future killer.I think Gary has better chances to become a violent criminal when he grows up. The Made Man
Jimmy IS in the GTA universe as Bully and Manhunt share the same universe as GTA. A better question is how would he fit in an actual M rated GTA game as an older protagonist. BlackSnow176
Coleman627
Jimmy would be badass in GTA. I don't think he'll return as a protagonist though.

Coleman627
Jimmy would very much fit as a side character in the game. But honestly, if anyone in Bully has a change to be a GTA protagonist, that would have to be Gary.

UshaB
I could only see Jimmy as a Strangers & Freaks character, but I doubt R* would add him to the GTA Universe. They are in the same universe. Watching the TV in Niko's room and the show, "I'm Rich" shows that a girl went to Bullworth Academy when she was a kid.
slimeball supreme
I am not sure, but I think Bully is in the same universe as the HD era of GTA. A bully sequel would be cool IMO. But jimmy in GTA?? I am not sure I prefer to believe it as him being in the 3D universe.

Some fans speculate that Rockstar Games purposely did that to create a timeless atmosphere to allow players to relate the game with their own days in school. I personally believe this was the case. SmokesWithCigs
They could bring him into the HD era just to kill him, like Johnny, or Terry, or Clay, or Ashley , or Marnie, or UL Paper, or Rocko, or potentially Packie... I don't want to see any more crossovers or reoccuring characters unless they come with sh*t-proof umbrellas from R*. awww.......... there, there The Dedito Gae

Honker1944
@Zello Nice find. I heard that she sleept with her teacher but I don't hear his surname. It will be nice if we can do missions for him. Like helping him with frauding his insurence. He could be a techer or racing driver. So denn we can add him as a driver and it will be veary nice.
