They mention he hanged himself... the rest of the reports are the dangers of depression and addiction. After the various commentaries finish with the D&A they warn people to be aware of it especially if the friend or family member just got out of care. I guess along with his career on the down, nobody is really interested in him as a person. I am going to believe the rumors of onset Alzheimer's and him not wanting to 'live' through it. Atteez Posted August 12, 2014 Share Posted August 12, 2014 (edited) Yesterday, I was watching the news and an unexpected headline comes into the spotlight: "Robin Williams dead at 63." At first, I actually had trouble processing those words. I was thinking, Robin Williams? Dead? You can't put those words together. Then it hit me like a brick in a pillow. I start to shake my head consistently and I start shouting at the top of my lungs, "NO, WHY HIM?!" While at the same time pushing my hands up against my temples in disbelief. It's saddening to see a legend like him go. Mork and Mindy, Mrs. Doubtfire, Aladdin, Night at the Museum, heck he even appeared on a Spongebob special once. By saying asphyxia they softened and tried to gloss over the real truth. It's like saying someone got electrocuted then later saying there was a toaster in the bath. Why not tell us the truth immediately? The reason is they are trying to skirt facing the real issue; How does someone so loved, rich and famous be so depressed to take his own life in a horrific manner? But Do any of you guys think that maybe it wasnt a suicide. Some people (and again not trying to start a rumor or be disrespectful) say that he died by auto erotic asphyxciation. Do any of you believe so? Maybe they said it was suicide to avoid the humiliation that happened to david carradine. They also said they found a pocket knife near the body, which is what people use if something goes wrong during the act. Maybe the person who found him wanted to make it look like a suicide so they cut his wrist with the knife. The police never mentioned alot of blood, they just said superficial marks on his wrist were found and a knife was near by. I dont know anymore. Either way, sure, you're on a need-to-know basis out of respect for a family who just lost someone, not to mention a hanging is a little much to swallow straight away.
