Do you report glitchers to R*?

No, never did and never will. I don't like snitches. I just glitch, don't hack and don't mod, but I even have absolutely no interest in reporting hackers or modders, even if they let me and others spawn in a swimming pool over and over again to kill us while we are in passive mode (this did happen) or let asteroids spawn on Los Santos' streets. I just get out of there and that's it.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if those people that keep reporting others always ran crying to their mommy as a kid when another kid stole their bobby car or destroyed their sand castle. I've no sympathy for snitches.

Imagine you're getting bullied at school by this one kid. He pushes you down on the ground when you wait for the bus, he throws some smelly lunch on you in the cafeteria and then gives you a wedgie in front of that girl you like. You can talk to the teachers to tell them about it and you know he's bullying other kids but you were taught to not snitch because, somehow, there's a bully-victim code.

Sarcasm aside, I know this is a video game but to sit down after a long day of school/work/doing nothing, you just want to relax. You paid for the game and you want to enjoy it. Yes, there's options to avoid glitchers/modders but there's also options to notify R* that these players are using illegitimate tactics to be bitches. Trust me, bitches are worst than snitches.

Two friends have glitched money.

They both glitched $100 million each.

Friend A gets caught and sent to cheaters' pool.

Friend B doesn't get caught and is living the swag life.

Friend A reports Friend B.

If I stumble across someone doing a glitch that has a negative impact on the session (godmode, wall breach vs. other players, etc.) and I'm affected by it, then I'm more than happy to report them; it's one less 14 year old brat in public sessions for the next two weeks.

Yeah but there is more to it than your single vote.

 

If you and say fifty other people end up doing it - then it'll stand out and they'll get shoved with the other retards. If nobody bothers, then they get away with it. So I take a few seconds to report if someone is really messing up my game. The best for god modders though is if you get video footage of them doing it and post it on the Rockstar forum or use their banhammer email - that will get it looked in to immediately.

 

If they were concerned about too many reports, they'd put up a display message, not freeze the console - that's ludicrous. If the game froze on you it's from crappy code.

Last night I spawned into 4 games in a row "swapping session" next to ppl in godmode.. Dunno if unlucky or just broken...

Get a tank - pull your phone out and record then post it to youtube. Takes about a minute. (Unless you have a phone from the 90s with no video recording feature)

If it's godmode and theyre abusing it by spawn killing the lobby/attempting to kill me, theyre getting reported.

 

I used godmode to max my strength and lung capacity stats, and it worked like a charm. Only had a few people try to kill me and I'd just shoot around them until they fled.

 

Might as well tale advantage of R* being douches.
