Constant rain!?

Hey guy's,

 

Been around these forums for a while getting tips and reading the madness. I'm a UK gamer 35yrs old and lvl120. Anyway, I've seen a lot of weird glitches/asteroids, teleporting god mode etc over the months. Nothing has really affected my enjoyment of the game, I mostly now hang out in Paleto or go off roading in the mountains.

 

So, for the past 2/3 day's it has been raining in every session I join (Constantly) Does anyone know what's going on? At first it was fun power sliding all over the place in my muscle cars, now I am starting to think this is some weird glitch or maybe something a glitcher has done?

 

Am online now PS3 (Flex-Method-1978) And yes it's still frikin pissin it down!!

I have this problem but with night instead of rain. It's almost always f*cking night in every session I join.

Hi, no it doesn't stop. 3 days now, I have been to work today, hung out with my girlfriend on Saturday.. every time I come back to the game it is non stop heavy rain since friday night. I'm playing now and it's still raining. My tag is in the first post, this has gotta be a glitch right?

Wow, sounds like a mod or glitch to me, if not then maybe theres something you gotta do, clear your cache, stuff like that, im not an expert when it comes to things like that.

Thanks, I'll give it another day. If it's still like this I'll do a reinstall. Once again yeah it's fun up to a point, but trust me after a while you just want it stop.

I'm not sure if a reinstall will work if its GTA online, others will be affected too.. Perhaps disconnect the router/modem from the net for a few hours. I'm not sure it will do anything to be fair but if your IP address changes you might connect to a different group of servers. I remember in GTA iv for me if it started raining it wouldn't stop untill I rebooted (so had to play lobbies with fixed weather as variable got stuck when it rained), but so far never had that problem with GTA v.

Plenty of people in all the sessions I join. It must be affecting more people then me. Have been scanning the forum expecting similar posts. I did have a weird glitch on Friday, all the mission icons on the map vanished, all players left and I couldn't access my vehicle or call my mechanic. Didn't think much off it but maybe it's linked.

 

Anyway screw it, if it continues I'll submit a ticket and just wait it out.

That happens quite often actually. I believe that happens when R*'s cloud services go down for GTA:O and you're still in a game.
