Why cant I drop my standard pistol for good?

i never use this gun and have no use for it, everytime i drop this thing it returns no matter what after changing lobbys and turning off my ps3, this is really annoying because all i want are my ap and heavy pistols as the extra seconds of scroll time can be crucial, anybody know a way around this

Since you can't drop it, Just don't use it simple as that just ignore it and forget you even had it.

 

Before you start out in free-roam fix your weapon wheel to have it set to the guns you want to use so have it set to the AP pistol so when you need it the AP Pistol is ready to go.
