How Many Crews Do You Have?

Over 90 in Batmans BS

Over 100 in Jurassic Derp

Over 100 in Ferrari Owners

1. The Old School [TOSC] My own crew of 1 member, me (created for green tire smoke b4 it was buyable)

 

2. The Misfit Brotherhood [MSFT] a regular crew with 62 members (some nice players who invited me during a public session)

 

3. Game Stop L.A. [GS03] a big crew with 19000 members (joined this one early on for easy RP bonus for missions)

Considering creating a crew for over 30's who prefer bikes over cars (have 10 of each atm). Ulysses Club (Grow Old Disgracefully). Not looking forward to making the decision on which crew I drop though. Never drop Rebels Nomads or Australia... would be like loosing my right or left arm. Might have to put the rest in a hat & draw one out...

 

Must say I prefer a smaller crew over a 1,000 member crew... around the 50 - 100 mark is good for me. I reckon you "get to know" the members better in smaller crew. Once you get over a few hundred members, you become a bit of a number, especially if you're in the rank & file membership & don't hold a position in the crew.

I think a lot of people initially join a large crew thinking of "safety in numbers". Once settled into the game, these crews become non-active & they create a crew or join friends crews.

The problem with that is the big crews are mostly indifferent to other members. True in the beginning you may have an idea that its safer cuz there are more members. The truth is that being such a big crew usually results in other crew members just seeing you like anyone else on the map. I have been killed lots by my own GS03 crew mates and have rarely seen them answer the call of other crew mates for backup/support

My first 3 vehicle purchases on GTA were all bikes... A Bati, Dinka TT and a Hexer.

I belong to a crew made up of a small circle of my (what seems to be my lifelong) friends on XBL. I've known them for years, and no amount of money or other temptation can betray that loyalty with my friends.
