Acceptable Reasons to leave a race before you've had your arse spa

I've only quit races for two reasons.

a) The track is a ramp infested piece of sh*t and I couldn't leave in the lobby, happened maybe 3 or 4 times

b) Suddenly i'm expected to go across a miles worth of water ramps in a f*cking sandking- I tried for 45 minutes and no-one got across (this was only once)

I would never leave in a race. I would rather lose in a race to ever be a person to give up.

I'll leave if all the other racers are griefing instead of racing.

 

The last time this happened, I was actually winning a race once - almost lapping everyone else, as a matter of fact - when all the other drivers turned around and started racing the wrong way just to crash int me. I'll accept that behavior in a GTA race, but in a standard race it's just plain douchebaggery and I don't have the patience for it.

 

I'll also leave if I get into the race and suddenly realize it is set for 195 laps.

Good for you but implying others are trash for quitting is childish to say the least. On top of that we have your extremely antagonistic behaviour to add to the melting pot and you wonder why people drop from your races.....

I've quit races like Stairway to Heaven where there's 16 people in the race and so many people are trying to go up the ramp that no one can go up the ramp, if you know what I mean.

 

I would never quit a race because I'm losing. Who gives a sh*t?

 

Is that the one where you have to land safely on Mt Chiliad? If so I quit that after a while, the vehicle type was Utility!

I'm not extremely antagonistic I just live my life by one rule...treat people how I like to be treated...I never pit anyone and if I accidentally clip someone I stop and let them go in front, the only thing I've done to antagonize people is being better than them to the point where they give up...And you're saying trash but I didn't use language like that

Everyone knows you dont quit races when you are losing. You let go of the accelerator and all other buttons for 30 seconds or so then announce löudly over the head set "Damn, my controller batteries went flat and i had to get some more. You're lucky else i would have won"

 

either that or drive in the wrong way and refuse to hit the vote button at the end of the race "oh i lost did I. Im not gonna vote and will make you all wait 30 seconds before you can start the next race That will show you f*cks not to mess with me and not let me win"

The only races I've left are the ones where its just a big ramp or something into the sky and everyone just falls off like retards for 20 mins. Literally anything can happen in a regular race, I've been dead last the entire race a few times and somehow end up in 1st or 2nd so I never quit

Part of me wishes that until you've turned a couple of corners - all races were non contact.

So you can save the 'rubbing is racing' until after the race-start-massacre

realised the custom made race was super lame

 

felt like doing something else

 

remembered i don't like racing.

I've only been in about 10 decently fair races. I had no problems with those and always finished.

 

But back when I was still naively trying to win actual races for my performance mods, whenever I would get pitted or rammed off the road an hopelessly in last place, I did not quit, but I would just turn away from the console and go back to web surfing or just get up and do something in the real world, but not quit the race. Then the assholes who rammed me (and everyone else in the race) have to wait the max time for all the DNF and non-voting timeouts, before they receive their ill-gotten RP and $$.
