What's the deal with the sentinel guy?

Who is he? How does he spawn? Does he exist and some sort of forum joke? What does he do?

From what people have said, he's just spawns to kill you. I guess he drives other cars as well

I can confirm I have seen him in a matte black Stinger GT as well

He actually did kill me once. I came out of my apartment and tried to jack a car. As I was pulling a woman out of her car I got plowed by a black Sentinal. I'll get my revenge some day.

You see him went you switch lobby or finish any mission. He always drive a black sentinel whit loud music. Also he have been see driving:tailgater,landstalker,buccanear,fusilate,stinger,monroe,cognocenti and entitys

He just tries to run you down right after you spawn in a freeroam session. You see him most often by martins house if you finish a mission that spawns you there, but I've seen him all over the city. After I finally killed him, I don't see him as often anymore.

 

 

Edit- if you want to see him, then every time you spawn in freeroam in a place that is outside your house, immediately run straight into the road without looking. He'll prob run you over 7 times out of 10 if you do this

Last night my buddy was riding with me in the Liberator while we were escaping a 4 star wanted level in Blaine County. I swerved to get around a roadblock and my back right tire sent a cop flying. I immediately said "Oh sh*t he just got Tony Stewarted" and we both couldn't stop laughing.

 

Anyway, yeah I see Sentinel Man all the time, but he never bothers me. Although last night night I was once again escaping a wanted level with a friend, our car got trapped in that walkway area with a Suburban in it and while cops had us surrounded some NPC in a rather nice outfit, driving another sedan (not a Sentinel but didn't have chance to make it out before dying) came out of nowhere, parked right next to us, got out and blasted us with a shotgun.

Sometimes he get out and shoots, or run or just jumps up and down mad then gets back in the car and drive off

But on topic, I've never seen him, and I've been playing since launch. I have been ambushed by a bunch of gangsters out in the country however.

I've seen numerous times, he tries to be a hero to the cops, get shot by me, see him racing down the road and slams into me I give chase and blow him and his car up. Haven't seen him around much after that, when I do I always give chase.

doesnt matter how many times you kill him, he would respawn and try to run you over the first chance he get!

He killed me a few times back in the day then I looked him up. Now I kill that fvck everytime I see him. Then crowbar his skull in to make sure. Then I sell his car if the sentinel. If its the infernus or a too hot to mod ill torch it or blow it up some way.
