miki99
Hello. I'm a SA-MP player and I'm playing on 1024x768 because of my poor PC. My graphics look like this: http://www.upload.ee/image/4202772/sa-mp-005.png Today I, out of curiosity, changed to 800x600 resolution and it's ten times better; it's brighter, more sun and it's simply easier for my eyes. http://www.upload.ee/image/4202774/sa-mp-006.png I would play on 800x600 but the chat is too weird and it makes it impossible to play. I wish to know why is this happening, why can't I have the sunlight on higher resolutions and is there a way to fix it?
lil weasel
The video card is being stressed, not much, by the higher resolution. How does your card compare to: DirectX 9.0c compatible NVIDIA or AMD ATI video card with 1GB of RAM (Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 or higher; ATI Radeon 4890 or higher). miki99
Excuse me but I didn't understand. I've 256MB Radeon 9250 graphic card. So it means my graphic card isn't good enough to support higher resolutions?
lil weasel
You have seen the difference between the resolutions colour pallet in your images. Personally, I do not see a great enough difference to matter. You could turn up the brightness or adjust the contrast on the monitor to achieve the same result, yes? miki99
I tried with no luck. So there is no way to get the same lighting in higher resolution?
lil weasel
there might be, but beyond my experience.
