GTA FIVE Next GEN Question!

Hello everyone. Maybe you saw this question a lot of time but i need an good answer.

Let's say i have an PS3 account with good GTA Online character. And after some time i move from PS3 to PS4. After that ill do a new acc on PS4, the question is, ill be able to move my GTA 5 and GTA V character from the PS3 acc to a very new acc on PS4 , and will my trophies earned from GTA V still remaining on that new account.

MayBe the question isn't so good but i really need an answer.I know you can transfer it, but i dont know if ill be able to transfer to a new acc. Thanks.

I imagine everything will transfer even if you make a new account.

 

If I transfer from 360 to PS4 obviously I will have to start up a new account, so I don't see why PS3 to PS4 would make a difference.

I believe you can move your stats from one PSN account to another. The stats aren't actually tied to your PSN/XBL account I believe, but to your social club account/R*'s cloud. This is how you will be able to move progress from X360 to PS4 or PS3 to XB1.

 

Obviously this isn't fact, but I'd imagine it will work like this.

 

As for your other point about trophies, I don't think they will carry over as previous cross gen titles such as FIFA 14 have separate trophies for PS3 and PS4.

Your Online progress transfers over, and possibly trophies/achievements, but the achievements only show up if you got them on that "brand" if you will. For example, if you got those achievements on Xbox 360; they'll transfer to Xbox One, but not PS4, and vice-versa.

I believe that your stats WILL transfer, but not the trophies.

About your trophies OP, think about CoD ghosts, did you trophies transfer over? Nope. That's your answer

When I transferred from BF4 on PS3 to PS4, I got all my stats including trophies

Your social club account and all of its included data like stats, vehicles, apartments, weapons, characters, awards and creator jobs will all transfer to whichever platform you wish to go to. You simply unlink your current account and relink to the new account. If you stick with the same platform line like PS3-PS4 your achievements MAY remain but for sure if you switch platforms you will start over on achievements.

 

By achievements I mean the ones the console gives you...the awards are the ones the SC gives you in game...like the ones that get you tatoos.

yes, maybe ill not be able to transfer the trophies to a new acc. But look, if im level bigger than 100, how ill be able to get again the online trophies like.

Since it's tracked on Social Club and that isn't platform sensitive I think they'll actually do a good job of getting everything over.

 

The question is will it all be in the same area and will it over right what's in there already or will it just be handled like it is now based on whatever you played last.

 

Regardless, they really haven't speculated to how it will transpire and I'm sure growing pains will happen. I'm going to delay any switches until they break it and then go from there.

OT: No you will have to use your previous account to keep trophys, you know you can just do a sign in instead of making a new account right? On 360 I can have the same account on at the same time with the One on.
