Why do we have room for more in our inventory then?

Because you can also use the RPG outside of survivals, maybe?

Wow. What a fantastic response. You're really contributing to the topic. Thanks!

You're welcome.

I thought people use to do survival for ammo. Only would lose it when you died if u didnt own it. Aka pick up a rocket launcher at lvl 99

Only works for lower level people who pick up guns they havent unlocked yet. If you are level 120 or over you cant pick up anything and have to use your own ammo.

I use the ce .50 cal pistol silenced until round 8 only using minigun on choppers. I spend 2-3k per survival not bad if I finish 10 rounds make around 27k.

The game was intentionally designed so you'd spend more money then you can make.

..and then re-designed when they removed "Replay" from missions and halved their payouts, and cut race payouts.

And all the other piddly little changes they made to stop people earning (selling mission cars, for instance).

R*, you suck (sometimes).

contradicting your first point are you not?

I am not.

You don't need more than 5 RPG's in one survival.

But the point is sometimes I just like to blow sh*t up, every once in a while Chester and dem' seem to get bunched up by the boneyard's actual entrance, I like to make them go BOOM!

Also those stupid trucks are always in my friggin way after I blow them up, I end up spending more ammo to try to move them out of the way

This is not about being a badass in survival, I can do Boneyard with a combat pistol only ( helis included), it's about the nickel and diming away of fun

game feels like a 9 to 5

na'm sayin?

You're right on that one.

Sorry OP.

I apologize.

Yeah, but they stick to their BS that the shark cards are only there to help the people that don't have the time, and what's so frustrating is that people, adults, have clearly bought into the nonsense. If you want to spend real money on imaginary money in a game you already paid for, fine, that's on you, but don't punish the rest of the community by making everything such a relentless grind. It's greedy, pointless, and has taken a lot of the fun out of the game.

I also hate how you can't pick up your own ammo that is left when you get killed, which is especially annoying for weapons that either have a high magazine size or have really expensive ammo.

I use survival to get free ammo. When I run low I go solo survival and scavenge everything after every wave and BOOM! Fully stocked and loaded.

There are actual fanboy c*nts on this forum who still say with a straight face that GTAO was not designed to be a rip off.

Those people are contributing to the downfall of GTA as we know it.

Yea. Who the f*ck came up with that "Survival to fill your weapons" idea?

Nade Launcher is limited to 2. RPG to 1. Minigun to 2000. Nades and Sticky Bombs to 4, if i'm correct.

And it always been like that since last time.

That's my point. Show me another game that doesn't let you pick up extra ammo from the ground if you have the space for it. It's a stupid mechanic designed specifically to make you pay for your ammo.

Drakan: The Ancient Gates.

I went to LSC in the SP game for the first time in about 6 months and couldn't decide to laugh or cry when I saw the prices. This alone demonstrates that R* are taking the piss and know it.

Guys seriously money isn't that hard too make, don't freaking buy cosmetics changes for cars. Ignore progression advances ie steps 1-3 of armor they don't stack . Team deathmatches with forced and pickup = no ammo bill.

If a mission gives $18,750 why waste $14,000 tossing stickies.

Don't use a Rpg when a grenade will do, don't use a grenade, when a rifle will do. Like blowing things up heavy sniper left wheel tire where the strut would be 2 shots explosions.

Almost every game uses the money sink system to lower player wealth, the trick is too avoid the traps. Want too try out the newest car fully modded go too single player purchase lSC at sand shores. Go too garage (free way too get new dlc cars the try it out like it time too go too multiplayer don't waste your online cash.

Set bank goals, what I call minimum balance each session try to raise minimum cap each session say $35-50,000 you will be rolling in cash soon enough.

Cause everything you just described sounds like fun...open your eyes. It's a game. It should be fun. Setting bank goals, not using weapons I want to, not getting cars in multiplayer...that isn't what I would call a great gaming experience. There's a balance. I'm not saying everything should be given to the players or that you don't have to work towards something, but the economy is so skewed right now to force the player out of money everywhere and that's not good game design.

Haven't done a Survival for a while but if I'm not mistaken you can drop all your ammo for whatever weapon and then pick up the ammo you couldn't as well as the ammo you dropped! Or have the fun police at R* patched it?

If you have less than a certain amount, you can pick up some. If you have over that amount you cannot pick up ammo by picking up weapons you already have.

Survival and gang attacks used to be a free way to stockpile ammo and weapons for free. Just pick up a weapon, purchase an attachment for it, free weapon. (if you were high enough to unlock it)

That's how I got my RPG when I reached level 100. Level 4 of a Survival, quit, bought gold camo, done.

You can still stockpile ammo during gang attacks, some crates contain ammo, instead of weapons. I use those, to this day.

I used to do that too. I'm sure they've changed it, because god forbid we get a cool weapon in the game that we didn't spend money on...

Lol I didn't say don't get the cars in multiplayer I said test drive the cars in single player that way you don't waste your money in multiplayer. Love the car buy it, upgrade it. Setting bank goals is how I can enjoy new content early,

BLACK DYNAM1TE

ahhh I miss the old days...Boneyard survival was my Wal-Mart for ammunition and free sticky bombs.

...but I really feel even if I fire just 1 bullet that I should be able to replenish as much as I want, pissed me off first day they patched that dumb move.

They did update something. I recall a line item specifically mentioning weapon pickups and changing the behavior. I'm off to find it. On mobile, so it'll take as long as it takes

Edit, it looks like the 1.10 update had several ammo/weapon related updates. It likely was tweaked there.

What economy? And if there is an economy in this game, the Us (or whatever country this is, probs R* land now) it went through serious inflation since Niko Bellic's time only to recover at GTAV's storyline time.

Also to add to your thing, some thing I do is when I reach a certain point like every 100k, I treat it like $0 to keep me from spending on useless stuff and keep me grinding.

OT: Before this free2play bullsh*t went viral, there was a game on the App Store that I played where it was super easy to make money if u had the time. There were of course, IAPs for ppl that didnt have as much time to play could buy their way w/o the grind. Shouldn't that be the reason shark cards are here? Not to be a sponge that sits in our wallets for money?
