Can modders/hackers derank you/take away your $$?

iv heard rumours of people being deranked by modders and having thousands of cashed lifted from them, are these true? if you got a modder angry enough could this happen? if they can control other players characters why wouldnt they be able to take it a step further?

no because your character is saved on rockstars servers. not on your hard drive like on cod.

If it actually does happen, restarting your console will probably fix it since your cash and rank are saved in the mystical worlds of cloudsville.

nope modders cant take anything away from you for good. once you switch lobbies all your stuff comes back. can take away guns or sell your PV (which you have to pay mmi to get back) but no permanent damage

They can make you pole dance and bend over so they can f*ck you in the rear...

Well, it depends on what they have access to. Most "modders" can take your weapons away and make your player do different animations. That's about the extent of it. If your cash/rank/stats are missing, it's either someone has access to your account or Rockstar has edited your account.

they can derank and take guns and money away but the changes dont stick, switch session and everything is back to normal.

 

i know, i had my guns taken away lots of times and couple weeks ago a modder removed 40millions from my account.
