I was told by a delivery driver at my work that his dad (70 years old) has a ps3 and plays gtao, cod, battlefield and forza haha

 

I would find it the most hilarious thing to hear people on headsets in public lobbies and the following to happen...a gang of pensioners keep spawn killing a bunch of squeakers and making them cry in the process whilst cussing them...

There were a bunch of guys I used to play Battlefield with who were all over 55, man could they lay the hammer down on those kids.

Im glad this thread turned out to be a positive one. And im also glad you guys opened up told your age and now I dont feel like an old ahole. I avoid telling my age in lobbies because I dont want most of these little kids trying to judge me.

 

Not that I have two sh*ts what they think. I just dont need to tell them my life story and how I got to be so "old"

I'm 30. I don't cuss because of my beliefs, and I don't randomly kill. In game I live by if you start it, I'll finish it.

This. Except I do cuss, like a drunk biker. But I don't even use in game chat... I only use my mic if I'm in a private party with a friend. I have nothing to say to randoms, and I don't care what they have to say to me.

Damn, even that makes me feel old, and I'm only 22.

I was king of Wangan Midnight in the arcade, no one could touch me in the Mazda Cosmo.

Tried a few times since but what with all those damn squeeky voices or just people just playing music, chatting crap like there mic's not plugged in etc, and again while i'm waiting for the race to fill up, i muted all external people, and now only interact with friends in a party chat (Good ol'Xbox for that)..

 

And age doesn't matter my Mother in law who is neary 60 still enjoys kicking arse on COD black ops 2 online.... on the ps3, and is considering buying a ps4 soon.

I feel slightly betrayed that they would just cast us aside for the yoloswag crowd.

My favorite playstation game series were tomb raider, final fantasy(7-9)twisted metal, crash bandicoot, and tekken. There were SO many good game series that the older consoles had compared to nowadays. Well there are a few good game series but not alot.

Me three, I don't grief people, or pit/ram them off the road when racing like i'm a retard holding a banana instead of a controller with a button to brake on it... In fact i helped 2 youngsters just the other day while i was out in my hearse to spawn one each for them...

 

Most of the time i keep myself to myself, if attacked of course i will attack back, but i don't go out to start trouble, i will just use my years of gaming experience to reek my revenge or to get out of town when needed too..
