Not that I have an issue with the younger generation but where the hell are the parents and why the hell are they playing this game?

 

LOL yeah I thought it was weird too. Letting them play a violent game, ok their call, but giving them unrestricted access to a microphone to chat with random people of all ages unsupervised?

 

As for the location of the old people, I'm 33 and play regularly, *but* I tend not to use the microphone in public lobbies. I'm not sure if that's a common difference or just me though. Part of that is I also find it 'less exciting" - so a 12 year old will be like "oh my god why did you shoot me? I want to go do a robbery or can we drive a firetruck and pretend to be firefighters?" whereas I'm more like 'oh I died, meh'.

 

When I first started playing GTA I'd be on the mic regularly.

in all fairness i started playing GTA when i was 11 but to be honest i dont know how parent let their kids play this type of game online.

 

i let my 2 kids(11 & 5) play in sp but not online, for 2 things, first i dont want them to get frustrated/stressed by all the griefin and 2 because they would just mess up my stats!

I wouldn't let my kids play GTA V until I felt they were mature. I don't want my children knowing about naked bewbs and marijuanas at that age!

thank god I don't have any, yet.

If you mean people who are old enough to buy the game themselves, then you'd struggle to find them.

Lobbies are filled with those born on the wrong side of 2000.

 

Younger players have definitely changed. No more carefully taught sensible people, just fat ADHD squeakers.

I started playing GTA when I was 12 and honestly I think many people did too, It's hypocritical to call out squeakers when you did the same. I seen older adults act immature so it's not just them.

Here we go... Have you ever seen tits, penises and even explicit sex on GTA when you were 12?

I played the first Gta when I was 13. Had to leave the 56k connected all night just to download that sh*t.

I'm 29 now, and play with a great crew of mature men and women, who act very silly at times and end up laughing non stop in our play sessions that last for hours every night. Most of us have busy lives, but there are enough in the crew to nearly fill a private lobby nearly every night.

 

Anyone looking to hopp in on the hilarity and fun is welcome to join our crew.

I know what you mean, I suspect quite a few of the 'friends' I've made on GTA are probably kids. Sometimes when I'm with them and they're all crashing into walls in their gold dollar sign Zentornos it kind of makes me feel a bit old.

Well our crew generally stays in private modes. Y'know, were fun can be had (the majority of the time). And I have never really seen the point in talking to randomers. Even though that's quite hypocritical, we met online 4/5 years ago when we would be deemed as "sqeakers" over the mic.
