What's the highest player K/D ratio you've ever seen?

8.64, if I remember right, coming from a guy who did nothing but jet grief all day.

From what I've noticed though, players with a high K/D are actually garbage when it comes to killing where it counts, since they typically use unerhanded tactics to boost it in Freeroam; decent players have a K/D much closer to 1.2 or 1.3. Not once in my entire time playing have I met someone with a K/D higher than 2.0 that was actually good in a deathmatch, or any sort of game that involves killing, for that matter.

20140810_012350wgfrx.jpg^ Saw this muppet last night, god mode-ing away.

25k k/d ratio + rockstar logic = clean player

is it stupid or lazy that you cant catch obvious cheaters like this? anyone with the words mod or hack in their names should get an instant console ban.

I have a legit 2.82 K/D, but I play like it. The problem with people who either boost their K/D, spend all their time in jets, or kill low level players to boost, is the fact that they can't hold their own on foot. Plus it's a pointless stat anyways. The average I always see is right around 1.00.

K/d stat is meaningless the moment it counts any kills and deaths outside of competitive game modes.

ive seen a few 20's any higher ones ive seen are new accounts or modders.

I just hit 7.00 K/D on my original account (level 172). Half are ground kills and half are jet kills. I've never dashboarded, glitched, or used god mode. Its all legit. I got my side account to a 401.00 K/D by getting 401 jet kills with only 1 death (but its now a 12.00 K/D since I actually started doing deathmatches on it).

Means nothing to me. I had 3 guys level 200+ camping my level 54 alt and I refused to leave or go on passive. So they killed me a few dozen times each while I got them a few times. K/D ratio is a useless stat.

OK when heists are out I'm gonna choose people who knows how to stay alive in a firefight giving us the best chance at the money. I'm not going to play with a dude with 500 deaths above their kills :)

You do that. It means nothing while crap like God Mode exists.

My meaningless k/d ratio 2.80 I think. Not 'cos I'm all that skilled a player, but 'cos I play smart. Knowing when to walk away, use passive or being very patient and letting your opponent come to you helps. As does generally not giving a sh*t what other people think so you're not going to get obsessed with trying to get revenge and end-up getting yourself continually wasted. Belive it or not, a playing style that got me booted from my previous crew!

My K/D is 30.26 legit but I have crew members with much higher K/D.

On my new account my level 13 k/d is 85.50.

I don't understand how players can have below 5.00 K/D in this type of game lmao.

I suspect you dashboard and aren't legit.

I have a k/d of 3.68. I have my social club stats open to everyone. 6000+ kills, no tank or jet ... zero.

If you have a high k/d and a lot of kills with little to no jet/tank kills then you are probably legit. Its easy as hell to kill most players in this game. The only reason my k/d is only 3.68 is because I sucked until I was killed about a thousand times. Most players dont know the map, cant quick scope, dont take cover... or take bad cover.... always make the first move into my kill zone...etc. If you have a low k/d then you must really suck.

How useful is the K/D stat? I've sat there in game and let folks kill my character till they got bored and left. So just how much of a big deal is that stat and does it really mean anything?

I would have a way higher K/D if it wasn't for tank pricks going around spawn killing me every 10 seconds in the first few months of GTA: Online's launch.

I saw a level 40 something with a k/d of 2000. He was in a Jet. His k/d kept going up with every kill he got.

I saw one with 16.xx but the player was using tool so that doesn't count.

Maybe 7 or so was the highest in a legit, high level player (new players don't count)

My legit K/D ratio is 10.30 at the moment. I've never cheated or used any kind of exploits in this game, and I am virtually never in a Lazer. Out of my almost 8000 player kills, I doubt even 10 are with a Lazer. I actually can't recall ever killing anyone in Freemode with it. In fact, any time I see a jetfag griefer I usually just put an instant bounty on them and change session.

I do go on Buzzard rampages from time to time, though...

Highest I've seen is 35.XX, although the guy was an ass, in a jet spawn raping everyone in the lobby then hiding in a wallbreach with a Marksman Rifle & a lot of Sticky Bombs when someone ended his fun in his jet.

GTA Master 007

Mine is 1.11, sometimes I'm in the mood for dm's sometimes I'm not. I got killed a lot when I started out as a noob, now I average a 10-15 kdr in death matches. Its Dylan0o7 on xbox if think I'm lying.

Highest cheatin' f*cktard K/D I've seen was 539.3. This was back about 5 or so patches ago, and the vast majority of the dude's kills was in a Tank.

Highest LEGITIMATE K/D I've seen was 5.9. This guy's weapon of choice was the Combat Shotgun. Still kinda' noobish, but a lot more acceptable then the twanker.

I can tell you my opinion about high K/D ratio. I have recorded and stored over 700 hours of gameplay and I have seen many strange things.

Players with a very high K/D (like 10 or above) is having an "artificial" K/D ratio. This K/D is only obtained trough "Cheating", being a "Coward" or is having "Low Level Luck".

Cheating players use glitches, hacks, or mods to obtain enhanced and unfair advantage over other players.

Coward players use to spawn kill low level players, or do griefing as long they have the upper hand. Once they lose this "upper hand", they always teleport around the map to avoid being killed at all. If they are being killed by a mistake they leave immediately to prevent the death from being saved.

Low Level Luck players, are usually players with low rank who have only been killed only a few times. These players always have an primary account with an high ranked character.

Here you have some examples of "Low Level Luck". I have done these myself by doing massive griefing with the P-996 Lazer:

11ttlqq.jpg

10zcktg.jpg

and few other accounts...

I did kill 1200 players and died 5 times with the jet. But now I have killed many more and died many more times so the K/D is about 15. Each time someone kills me the K/D goes down to for example 14.90, etc.

Here you have some recently examples of "Cowards" in Bad Sport. These players used god mode glitch and was impossible to kill, while they spawn killed everyone else. I got this recorded.

v5kdad.jpg

6zriah.jpg

1e9x7n.jpg

The highest I have ever seen is a player with a K/D near 270, but he had a low rank. This was in a Bad Sport lobby. I know if someone did kill him few times his K/D would drop or even being halved each time he dies. But I have seen on the Internet that someone had tens of thousands in K/D. But this is just a modded and worthless K/D.

So if you have an "artificial" K/D then you are probably one of the player types which I have described above. These players use to suck on the ground in a gunfight (including myself).

If you want a high K/D, then do this:

1) Create a new account

2) Do massive griefing with the Jet

3) Each time you die, cut the power immediately to prevent the death from being saved.

4) Rinse and repeat

Voila high K/D...

K/D is meaningless. I would have one upwards of 5.0 if I didn't get killed by tanks/jets/glitchers/hackers so often.

That being said, highest K/D I ever saw was around 2-million/1 on a level 10.

Would not say it is a pointless stat, can usually tell what kind of a player your opposition are by checking the kdr, usually the high rations are braindeads who shoot on sight/camp/glitch - so best staying away from people with a decently high kdr. Speaking from personal experience anyway, those with lower kdr seem to be a lot friendlier and more approachable. :)

You would think that a high K/D would be a sign of a highly skilled player, but in my experience it is often quite the opposite. I did see a 0.02 K/D ratio once though - ouch!

Mine is about 1.6 I think, achieved largely by avoiding death - being in a racing crew means I can't shoot to save my life, but I can drive to save my life! Wile-E-Coyote may be a vicious hunter, but the Roadrunner is just too damn fast!

EDIT: By 'quite the opposite' I mean that a large number of players will have achieved this stat by sitting in tanks or exploiting a god mode glitch etc. Some players with high K/D's will be skilled.
