Obviously some kids take it seriously and anyone with a decent one has got to be a griefer. My friend got harassed by one the other day who shot him while he was shopping. He apparently did this to a few people and when they get close to killing him he suicides. Does that not count as a D because it should?

I would be happy if was gone TBH. Doesn't serve the game as it was meant to be. Or K/D changed for NPC kills.

The best I've seen that I knew was legit was around 5.8. I know the guy and he only ever goes around on foot killing people and he only goes after those who are also looking to fight.

 

I've seen plenty higher than that but it's always people in jets of armoured vehicles and their stats mean nothing.

You are nearing 20.0 KD? I have always thought for that to be legit it would have to be in a way that is not fun and the sole purpose of your gaming experience is keeping a high KD. Not judging if that is your thing, to each his own. But is that your goal? And how do you do it? You must never play jobs (TDMs or Adversary modes). If you are killing from a jet (which I am guessing is one of the most feasible ways to maintain a KD that high) do you immediately go passive if you spawn or land in a war zone until you are back in the air? I have played the game quite a bit (free mode and all jobs) and I don't see anyone maintaining a KD higher than 4 or 5 unless they are literally focusing on KD as their only goal.

If you had 30,000 kills and a KD of 20.00 and then went 100 kills and 50 deaths in a massive free roam war your KD would drop to 19.4 just that fast. So you must be avoiding these all together? If so you are missing out. Free roam shootouts and deathmatches can be quite fun. Maybe you have a separate account to play these worry free without KD on your mind?

I never avoid i drop back and strike again, badsport tactics gets you the win

Hardcore pvp player im not missing out at all ive achieved a hell of alot in this game, there isn't much i haven't done.

And as for free roam dancing no thanks the opposition will eventually resort too dirty play so i hit them with it first

Same here. It's also who I go after first because I know they'll most likely fight back. When you get to a high level with millions there's not much else to do in the game, so may as well get your KD up if you see freemode as a big death match.

But against randoms only they would be 5.0 or higher.This is true, my kd is around 1.4 and when I was engaging freeroam fights it was long between the people that beat me but now it would probably be more frequent because I'm not that interested anymore.

I have a couple of people on my friend list that have a kd just above 1 and they are really good in deathmatches but like me they don't care that much about their kd. Once I thought about getting it to at least over 2 but started playing Battlefield instead and lost most of my pvp interest in gta

 

Edit: on a side note I have to say I think it's kind of impressive to have and maintain a kd above 10

My K/D is around 400.00 K/D or something.

I originally wanted to try getting 1,000.00 K/D, but guess I've gotten bored of the game for now.

There are some really stupid players, and it kind of gives me the kicks to relieve them of their misery.

 

1) I don't use modded account.

2) I don't use EWO.

3) I don't use Jets.

4) I don't use Off the Radar.

5) I don't go Public Free Roam.

 

I mostly just like to do Contact Missions or Heists against PvE, than PvP against Players.

Those days on Xbox 360 as Contact Mission Grinder, has taught me how to avoid getting killed in Missions.

So when I started new accounts, I have practiced trying to not get killed and such.

I even go above Rank 100 and 200's, without a single NPC or Player Death.

When GTA VI comes or Online II, I would not bother with killing Players.

It's really not worth it, and K/D seems like a stupid and silly feature.

To be honest, I would have rather had 0.00 K/D and never killed anybody.

Yeah, well sometimes I would go in Public Free Roam Sessions in a Nightshark and plant Sticky Bomb or Proximity Mine on Vehicle.

Then go Passive Mode, and approach a Target.

Then turn off Passive Mode, and BOOM!

Bonus points for multiple kills in or multiple vehicles.

Cheap, but I had to do those stuff for kicks.

Not that I go in Public Free Roam much, so I get bored.

Some squeaker had a KD/R of -85899344.

 

I guess the modder he relied on tried to embarrass him yet hes a level 600.

 

Another guy had a KD/R of 391310.69

 

Believe it or not, some hacker TP'ed us to the bridge by the docks, so i pulled my RPG out, suicide bombed one of them i think sniped another guy and made a run for it.

 

Later on, those guys went to a strip club, while they were distracted, i tossed a proximity mine next to their car in an attempt to kill them, but another guy ended up falling for the trick.

 

Eventually, i sniped one of them, then blew his other friend up when they were sitting in a rail yard.

If you have 100k kills then that is not absurd to talk about kd seriously. Also there are two ratios for those who doesn't yet know, one which on social club is overall including ewo, npc, and misc. That one that shows in game is pvp kd. And adversary modes don't count towards kd.
