What kind of role playing would work on GTA Online?

Other than being cops (Cops 'n Crooks kinda thing)?

Do you think game modes could incorporate being fire fighters or paramedics?

What other possibilities are there?

I think we should have all these little side missions added to the game.

When player enters taxi he can pick up passengers.

When player enters cop car he can fight crime similar to IV.

When player enters ambulance he can help injured civilians.

etc...

I really don't see why R* can't add this to Online one of the most simplistic things they could do and won't take much effort. Their previous games have had them so i don't see why V/O doesn't.

None, most of the community has the mentality of "shoot first, ask later"

Exactly.

If this community were a representation of reality, mobsters and most other real-life criminals couldn't exist in these conditions (aside from being a serial killer).

It'd be like every potential mobster just meeting up and shooting eachother. It's kind of ridiculous.

I loved buying businesses in GTAVC & SA, I really thought they would play a big part in GTAO and GTA5, was pretty disappointed when I found out how poorly implemented they were in SP and nowhere to be found online.

It would be cool if they just had a bunch of businesses or "assets" like strip clubs, taxi firm, burger joints, ice-cream vans (ahem GTAVC players) etc that cost a fair bit to own, but then give you the option of performing free-roam missions related to them. So you could still be on the lookout for bounties and cars to sell, but also while you're ferrying NPC's around or running security at your club for small cash.

Limit it to only 1 or 2 businesses per person, and suddenly you'd have far more interesting lobbies with loads of diversity. Obviously some people would still be out to cause chaos, but then that's GTA. Adds to the fun of pulling things off successfully.

I believe you are referring to the "Odd Jobs" that were so plentiful in the 3D generation.

Such as...

- Taxi

- Firefighter

- Ambulance

- Vigilante

- Trucking

- Pimping

- Valet Parking

- Courier

etc.

I'll be the lonely doctor who needs love.

You can be the sexy nurse.

The animations are there.

Yeah that'd end well online..

Player steals a taxi and starts doing taxi jobs... Goes to pickup a passenger, stops.. then BOOM a rocket comes out of nowhere and blows him up.

Though I see no reason why it should not be in SP.

Some are in SP. The idea was you'd buy businesses at the end and do the jobs related to that.

I agree with your other point, trying to do them online without a sticky or rocket interfering could be tricky. I did like the Lester Targets though and would like to see more like this in free roam.
