Best Custom Game-Modes and Maps?

Hey there everyone,

 

I was just curious as to which custom game-modes and/or maps are the most entertaining and enjoyable. I'm currently playing a demolition derby map with a couple of my buddies, which takes place on top of the roof of the Merryweather warehouse where the yellow submarine is located. It's fun, but I was curious as to whether or not you were all aware of some other demolition derby custom maps, preferably ones which result in death every time you fell off the edge.

 

We have also been participating in quite a few custom racing maps, such as the "Super Air/Jump" series, etc. Searching for custom maps seems to be a pain in the ass if you're doing it manually through the Social Club website, so I was hoping some of you would be so kind to share some links to a few interesting maps/game-modes to check out.

 

Anyhow, with that being said...

 

What is YOUR favourite custom game-mode/map to play with your buddies?

 

Please excuse me if this topic was posted within the wrong section, but the "Content Creator" section seems more suited to topics regarding discussion/tips/tutorials on creating your own maps.

I've yet to really play any that have been genuinely good or at all in fact, nobody plays anything but rooftop rumble and I trust the rockstar courses a lot more.

 

Sorry if that's a useless response but I feel it's accurate. Also inb4 the guy advertising his own content.

Don't worry about it, your post wasn't useless at all.

 

I have to agree with you on the part where you say everyone plays the Rooftop Rumble mission all of the time, but there's more missions being added in to the game recently, so I think people are starting to move away from it. They have also made some adjustments to the mission to make it much more of a pain in the ass to grind -- for example, players now have to chase down the briefcase before delivering it.

 

Sometimes I feel as if the Rockstar Verified courses were only picked because they seem more suitable for everyone, as I don't seem to see any verified maps revolving around demolition derby or stunt jump courses for motorcycles. I tend to stick to the maps/game-modes created by regular gamers like myself.

Look up "Little And Cubed",OfficialNerdCubed and YOGSCAST Martyn.

You won't regret it.

ive made a lot of stuff in the creator, i like games like that where you can make stuff. but all i ever get invited to is either RR or 9000000rp rank up. the gta community is so desperate for money its ridiculous. i remember before 1.06 with the 16k criminal records payout now its $16. R* verified is only stuff that is unoriginal copies of each other, jumps n jumps in jumps r us ooh death match in a park.

 

My biggest problem is the lack of capture players. NO ONE JOINS CAPURES AND IF YOU JOIN ONE ITS ALLWAYS sh*tTY RP MAXIMO. theres no support for the game mode its depressing

No worries, we all need to vent about something at one stage or another. I used to be sent invitations to 'RP $100,000,000' cash lobbies all of the time, but as of recently I haven't received any invitations to them. I had actually thought that Rockstar had found a way to prevent them from being created, but I suppose I was wrong.

Grenade launchers only, somone made a map in the middle of the ocean with two platform far apart from each other. It's like a game of tanks lol, pretty fun

 

Um derby on merry weather. That's about it (Cool, you actually mentioned that arleady)

 

Oh and underwater knife fight. Only fun for 5 mins though, gets frustrating lol. Plus I love the diving in GTAO

My matchmaking is absolutely brutal.

My xbox is dmz'd so all ports are open but yet I will sit in an open lobby waiting for players for 5 10 minutes. I hate it.

 

I like challenging races, and motorbike skill maps.
