Glock's are easily identifiable for their block like look and Polymer frames. The AP pistol appears to be all metal (frame and slide). Also imo the frame is actually somewhat similar to a 1911, while in the eyes of someone not familiar with guns I can understand the slide could be seen as a heavily modified Glock's. Still that does not make the AP a Glock. I see the AP as a mismatched, fictional gun. Likely designed as a modern take on the Colt SCAMP.

 

(Closest Glock 18 I could find that could be mistaken for an AP.)

 

As for will we ever see a Glock in GTA V/O? I would like to see one, but I doubt it as we have to many pistols and there are only a few more spots left on the Amunation wall.

while i do not think or consider that the Combat pistol looks anything like a Glock, it is the closest thing we have to it at the moment unfortunately IMO.

We already have a glock (combat pistol)' and a m4a1 wtf u people talking about.

There is no M4A1 in GTA V. What might look like one, is the Carbine rifle, based on the Heckler and Koch 416 (or M27).

Rockstar could feature a speedloader. It's a small cylinder holster, that helps you insert all 6 bullets in the revolver cylinder at once, instead of loading it one-by-one. Edited August 10, 2014 by ChrilLe

They could make it a .357 so it has the damage and add a speed reloader so it cuts the reload time down.

Plus if you get in a car, change weapons (again takes too long cycling through), when you get back out, your choice changes again.

If your accurate enough you should only need one to two shots to put someone down. Yeah the reloading time would be a pain in the ass but it still wouldn't stop me from using it. It can't be worse then reloading the musket lol. Edited August 10, 2014 by BlackAce23

A newer model Glock would be nice but unnecessary. For looks and preference of brand maybe but it seems there are too many pistols as is.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing the UMP45 and P90. We had a P90 model in TBoGT and by putting in the cheat code for heavy weapons on campaign you could even fire it from a vehicle. Maybe an MP7 model for the armor piercing rounds and high rate of fire. The number of automatic weapons able to fire from a car is pathetic. AP Pistol is overused because of the power but, it's necessary when someone drives a super car in reverse. Time to just blow it up and drive away.

No gun in GTAV is a direct replica of it's real life counterpart. All the guns are 2 or more mashed together and given a generalized name. So no we won't be getting the ugly f*cking LEGO gun that is the Glock.

I would love for the Glock to come back, that was definitely my favorite pistol in GTA IV.

Why would a particular type of pistol make any difference? There's no visable detail to the pistols already available in the game, and if you shoot someone in the head at close range with any of them, they'll die. I really don't see why the type of pistol is of any relevance.

It only holds 10 rounds, so it should be semiautomatic. Damage should be like the sniper, but with less range.
