I was in a free roam lobby with around 12 other people. I went up to a few guys. They were just walking around. What I didn't realize was that one of them was giving the others money. I walked up to them. He did a Facepalm taunt, and then gave me ten million, which isn't a lot, as many of you say, but R* will probably remove ALL of my money, even the legit cash. Keep in mind that I was a broke hobo before this.

No one actually survived it. Everyone got the wipe but some sold their 10 Adders to go back into the millions.However, a lot of people are saying you can't even sell adder bonds anymore.

I personally haven't encountered any cheaters in quite a few weeks. I would sort of be glad if everyone's cash was reset; it seems to easy to acquire a supercar and an expensive apartment these days.

$10 mil is more than enough money and you'd have to grind for a while to get there.

 

I try to stay between $7 and $10 mil, $50 million let alone a$100 mil will get R*'s attention

So much bogus info being spread. I know many legitimate players who were untouched by the money wipe. One of my friends was legit and had to call Rockstar to have his funds restored though. I don't like Rockstar's ways either but if you have 10 million you worked for but spend 50 million of your billionaire days money than why do people cry about the original legitimate 10 million being wiped as well? Hate on Rockstar all you want but the truth is most of us had a blast for free than cried later.

I had a modder come up to me and tons of the little cash icons started dropping at my feet. I panicked, thinking he was making me drop my cash, so I left the session. On my way out, I kept hearing the sound that plays when you pick up cash. I thought "that bastard's picking up my money."

 

So I got into another room, and I was $78,000 richer. He was giving me cash.

Well i can confirm it as true but youll just have to take my word as i dont have any proof to back up the OPs claims, but last night my friend entered a lobby and his money started rising, he got spooked and left but the modder had already deposited about $300,000 in a few seconds.
