HeatproofLemur
Since I see this thread as the most fitting for my question: Is the upcoming Tornado Custom a convertible? Would love to get a proper interior on my current one! That is the million dollar question. I hope it is. We'll find out then. Suppose it could be wether you take a hardtop into bennys or a softtop, but ive got my softtop in the garage been driving it since day 1, just incase, but ive seen youtube videos of the lowriders 3 leak and the roof was a secondary colour like the softtop in lsc, so unless a tornado custom can have a secondary colour roof for a hardtop, then im guessing the custom is most likely a ragtop, but i guess we'll find out when LR3 is released, anyone got any clues on a date yet? Again - it's a convertible. Doesn't matter which one you take to LSC, it'll always be converted in a convertible. An NO, you cannot upgrade the rusty one (or maybe you can and it will still be made into the clean cabrio?)

Mach1bud
Unless they come to their senses and start offering rusty liveries, Slamvan style. AT LEAST they need to make the hardtop an option. Easily the stupidest f*cking decision they have made, to make it mandatory to convert it to a convertible. Like wtf. The lack of rusty liveries sucks as well, not to mention it has no unique mods for it, just the standard regular Tornado mods plus the standard interior Lowrider mods. It just gets to me that one of the most recognizable and awesome cars in the game is getting no effort put into it. Of course it could all change by the time it is released, and I will eat my words then, but as of now, I am very disappointed in one of my most looked forward to Benny's cars. Edit: I was mistaken, there are a few unique mods for it, they just suck ass. TCMike
Unless they come to their senses and start offering rusty liveries, Slamvan style. Sorry, nope they don't. Not yet, but I'm holding out hope. For example, not being able to take a rusty Tornado into Benny's. That's a pretty stupid (business) decision for R* to make. Realistically it shouldn't be a problem, since the game replaces whatever car you bring inside Benny's with a whole new car. R* could flip a switch and it would be possible to upgrade a Faggio into a Tornado Custom. It's extremely foolish not to allow players to upgrade their rusty Tornados and I would expect that to change when it's officially released. And who knows, maybe a few other changes could be made as well. /fingers crossed Mach1bud

I mean, the rusty ones don't even have optic mod options wich could be taken over to the custom one, so only the performance mods remain - and these are what? 100k maximum, which isn't even a hour of grinding. Granted it's a bit of a hassle to buy a new one but I don't think it should make such a big of an impact as some people make it out to be. Only thing which could cause a bit of trouble are the oh so great washed out paintjobs - which are easy to replicate with crew colors. Also - since all the stuff for the custom classics is already in the game, I doubt that something will change. Also - since all the stuff for the custom classics is already in the game, I doubt that something will change. It all depends on the player. I really like all the glitch-slammed hard top rusty Tornados that I've seen over the years. But that would be impossible to get from Benny, should things stay as they are. Not being able to use my "Seanado" to have a worn sea foam green paint is also a bummer. Not being able to have a hard top Tornado is a bummer. No new mods is a bummer. No rusty livery is a bummer. Etc. To be honest, I was looking forward to the Tornado Custom the most out of all the leaked low-riders, but at this point, I'm not interested in buying one. So I sure hope some changes are made before they're officially released. Edited March 27, 2016 by TCMike Mach1bud

We want a rusty lowrider similar to the Slamvan. We want it to stay rusty or stay a hardtop if we convert it. Buying a new Tornado isn't the problem. We have money. What we are saying is the way Benny changes the Tornado, sucks ass. TCMike and Coleco 2 Twitter - Instagram - Youtube - Social Club

Granted considering that the bodys themselves as well as the mods are already in the game that would probably not mean too much work. But hey, considering that all of the Custom Classic cars seem rather rushed (all the modification options are rather miniscule or copied from already existing lowriders) it's no wonder really. I for myself am already thankfull that the Tornado seems to be the car with the most options we're getting but I can see that it's a let down for the ratrod fans...
