Can't remove Pistol

I have the default Pistol which I never use since I have the .50 cal Pistol and no matter how many times I drop it it reappears in my inventory when I join a new session. Anyone know how to permanently remove the damn thing?

Is it really that hard to scroll to the Desert Eagle? I put up with it every day. And why not us the AP Pistol?

It's really irritating when I'm trying to pull up a Micro SMG quickly in a car chase and I have to scroll through a bunch of pistols I never use, so yes it is.

completely agreed,but you can't remove the default pistol.Instead,I dropped 50 cal.,AP and Combat.I only have default and Heavy ones.Pretty much easier and no trouble when scrolling

Why would you drop your AP pistol, that's the best one.

I don't use pistols unless I do special NPC kills.I use rifles instead pistols.But Heavy Pistol is a really very powerful one,that's why I keep it

No, you can't get rid of it permanently, at least not yet. The Starter Pistol has been there since day one. IMO it's really meant for newbies / low-level players, so they can defend themselves against the maniacs, running around in the streets of Los Santos. But somehow, Rockstar forgot to implement something to stop high-level players getting it. I hate it too and don't want my character picking it up. But its nothing compared to SP-Mode. 6-10 different Pistols or so. Can't remove any of them and most of them are terrible LOL.
