Will we ever get R* dev exclusive "Photo Mode"?

For those who don't follow the newswire, photo mode is a mode in which I'm positive R* uses to make there own distinct screenshots from custom jobs made by either them or the community.

Badass, right? But do you think R* will settle out and make this into a feature available to the public among the release of Next-Gen or in a future update, like what next-gen games like InFAMOUS: Second Son and The Last of Us have done recently?

How exactly would this play out? I mean you would just be a floating orb in the sky while your avatar stands vulnerable on the ground ? Or what?

 

I mean it's cool, but i doubt it would be implemented. We already have Snapmatic.

Could work out as you the player is just an invisible "thing" that can take any pics, or alternatively it could be Call of Duty style where you can make a screenshot from a previous DM/Capture/Race/Session.

I know skate 3 had a system like this. The game would record at all time and u could look at it from the past 30 minutes or something with different angles and stuff and take pictures.

I bought The Last Of Us today for PS4, and its Photo Mode its amazing, here's a tutorial

 

 

 

I would love too see this in X1/PS4/PC Version. Its really amazing what you can do with it, sadly It would need to be SP only or as @dillono says, from previous Jobs (I cant say how that works in COD as Ive never tried it).

In COD it worked as you could spectate other players PoV or freely move your camera wherever you wanted.

Ah. Gta4 PC had this feature too. You can record and edit video there to upload to Social Club.

Exacly like that. You could also slow down and fast forward time.

 

Who wouldn't love a slow-mo sniper headshot or a fast-forwarded ragdoll montage?

back in GTA4, this is something the video editor can do, so I think when GTA5 PC comes out, this can be done with that too.

Well I didn't say it wouldn't be implemented... but I agree, nothing would happen since it wouldn't harm anyone. Considering PS4/XBONE has better capabilities, it would be no issue implementing this for the community.

Well I didn't say it wouldn't be implemented... but I agree, nothing would happen since it wouldn't harm anyone. Considering PS4/XBONE has better capabilities, it would be no issue implementing this for the community.

 

Would be an instant + to the GTA series, because regardless of which game there will be an awesome moment you want to take a photo of. Regardless!

i wish we could record short 15 sec clips with our players phone. or hit record and it records 15 seconds of gameplay and saves it to the hard drive.

GTA Vine has already been suggested before. I think one guy said that R* could easily call it Bush and be done with.

Free cam is my most desired feature for the re-release. I'll be on PC, so there will likely be something, but I want to be able to capture free cam video to make videos with. Hopefully the PC video editor includes online play.

This would be possible if they would bring back the recording/video editing function from GTA IV, you would be able to play back the recorded content offline, pause it, get a good view and take the photo.

 

(I think that's how they create those photos at Rockstar in GTA Online too, not real-time in my opinion.)

A simple screenshot option would be enough for me. PS4 can do it, PC too, don't know about Xbox One. I'm looking forward to that since it will be possible to take pictures quicker and take nicer pictures that are not in first person view.
