I'm sorry man but paying a fee just for the honors of playing a gamemode that we were told we'd get bundled with the story seems foolish, especially with how multiplayer is now.

The game fee is added, because the players ruined it for everyone else by modding and glitching. Rockstar has to fix things and patch exploits and glitches when they could be developing new content. For all the people that say they have two teams while that is true one has to wait for the other to complete the exploit fixes.

There was subscription based online games since ps2. Ps2 dude. And yea they lasted. I played everquest on Ps2 the servers lasted for 8 years while players payed 15 per month

 

Will there be millions willing do so? No of course not but im sure theyd get at least a few 100k people willing to do so.

The point of paying a fee is retarded we BOUGHT the game we OWN the game, it doesn't make sense to further boast Rockstars bank account so all the people going through adult life can;t play and are left with spoiled kids and teenagers who have nothing else to spend money on.

 

It would be like Coke sending you a fee for using their Coke cans. You bought their product you own their product now. There still gonna be modders the idea that fee's will stop modders and glitches is absurd. Let's use a country example if someone pays to go into a country they can still commit crimes its not like it gonna stop them it might lower the amount but its gonna pretty much the same in lower numbers. And since only the hardcores will probably pay there will be hardcore douche bags instead of douches you can normally fight.

It doesn't matter if you're jobless or not. Bills should always, and I mean ALWAYS come first, if you're truly a mature adult.

 

There should be no reason to skimp for virtual nothing. That's kid stuff.

 

Also, yes the 360 community is more mature on the whole, however I never said pay to play would totally eliminate kids but it would be a hell of a start.

I don't think I wouldve bought gtav in the first place if it would've cost extra $$ to play online. Say you want to play for two years of online for 5$/month. 5x24=$120+60 is 180$. I'd rather stick to gta san Andreas and maybe put that money towards a 2DS and a couple Nintendo games.

And whoever thinks it would help to create a mature community...let me remind you that on Xbox, at least, the kids got their parents to pay for the game and gold. Who says that they can't (and won't) convince them to pay for GTA Online?
