Pay to Play GTA Online

It would also be a terrible idea since we all already paid $60 for this game.

GTA Online is seperate from the game

Oh....I hadn't realized...so they would give us online without buying tha game?

This is the only way they can release GTA Online at the start, but when they release more cities in the future you are not going to need GTA 6 to access Vice City online or w/e they are releasing.

You will on PS4 & Xbox One (PS Plus & Xbox Live)

Really?

PS Plus is required to use online services of games

I'm going to assume the people that are saying no are part of the current squad of glitchers, modders, and trolls on GTA Online

HAHA. Nah man, just people smart enough to pay a one time $60 price for a game. Paying continuously for a game mode is complete nonsense. You guys can keep saying GTA O is it's own game, but it's just not. It runs on the V engine and it's sold as apart of the V game disc. Until they sell it on it's own disc, with it's own engine, then it will be it's own game.

This is actually unconfirmed, but I get your point. If/when they show GTA V and GTA:online as different games on retail sites or on achievement lists on consoles, then they will be different games. As of now Online is just a feature of the Standard GTA V disc. Also +1 for wishing Vice City to be GTA 6.

What? No. NO. NOOOOOOOO. f*ck NO OP!

Until Rockstar gets their sh*t together and ACTUALLY communicates with the community, hell nah. It's bad enough that I payed them $60 for GTA V and they claimed that Online was a bonus. IT'S NOT A BONUS, and I feel like they're using that explanation to explain why the game is so sh*tty.

8th gen may be better, but they could've seriously optimized way more than what we've seen for 7th.

"In an interview with CVG, The Benz - Rockstar North's president - confirmed that GTA 5 and GTA Online are completely separate.

"It'll be GTA Online," said The Benz, "it's not part of GTA 5. Obviously it's set in the GTA 5 engine, but it's going to grow and evolve into its own thing."

Ok, where can I buy my Grand Theft Auto: Online disc? Where can I find my Grand Theft Auto: Online achievements? Rockstar are the only people who think GTA:Online is it's own thing. Even retailers sell the game as "Grand Theft Auto: V," not "Grand Theft Auto V/Grand Theft Auto: Online Bundle"

Who do you trust the game makers or the retailers?

Not bothered about them, but they also said heists were coming 'soon', then Spring. They also got rid of the gate launch glitch after saying they wouldn't touch harmless fun glitches. They also do livestreams with glitchers and promote Youtube videos with Cargo Plane stunts when the Cargo Plane isn't even available Online. Also I already pay thanks to Gold.

i would pay. hopefully that culls the kids from the game.

Riiiiiiiiiiight. Even if it would, they'd move on to something else and take ~50% of the market with them. Good for you, bad for Rockstar. Circling around to potentially bad for you.

If GTA:O had a subscription with GTA:O as it is now, I would literally break my disc with a hammer

Why would I pay extra to play some buggy nonsense filled with kids?

Your username clearly fits your mindset: insane.

PC gamers don't even have to pay for games. Sure, they could steal it off a website instead of buying it but I meant they could download free alpha's/beta's (unreleased games/in testing) and some of those unfinished games are brilliant. Then you got us console gamers who are shelling out $60 for a game that's got the same amount of glitches as a beta does. I've read your posts and it's almost as if you're saying to people, "guys, let's give R* $5 so they can make the game better". THEY SOLD A BILLION COPIES! How much more dough do they need? The damn janitor at R* wears a crocodile suit for f*ck sakes.

I would never pay extra money for something that:

-was announced in the pre-release of the game (which GTA:O was, you need the GTA V disc to play it)

-wants your money and that's why I don't buy shark cards. Do you buy those, OP?

It's as if $60 is now nothing. I don't have a lot of money and to put extra money on a $60 game that's going to have a better version when it comes out on the newer consoles is just pointless and wasteful. If I could pay less for the game to remove features I don't want, I would totally do it. Like..."remove contacts from calling me" feature. I think that would be more popular than your idea.

Took one good luck at the title and the first thing to pop up in my mind was NO!

Never.

I would potentially pay for a worthwhile DLC... so far the High Life DLC (2nd Garage) is the closest to worthwhile, but a long way short of me being convinced to paying more than $5 for it.

Paying for GTA Online DLC's will likely never happen as R* have chosen the micro-transaction model (although the Real Life$ to GTA$ conversion is ridiculous) and with paid DLC you would obviously (or you would not purchase it) need all content unlocked straight away for use. In would also want to not have to pay for modifications to any vehicles obtained via a paid DLC...hence R* will likely never do this.

You wouldn't in it's current state.....and neither would I.....that's the point in why paid content would make it better.

A small subscription or paid DLC would be a whole hell of alot better than the head games and sleazy tricks they pull, slowly cornering more and more people into buying cash cards with each passing update. Can't say I blame them for wanting to make money, just not like this.

Based on your f*cking ignorance and immature comments, you're probably the only f*cking kid in here.

Ending quote trains.

Do you want to RP? :)

Please, keep on topic.

My answer is still a justified "no". I'm not paying for something that came with a game I payed for $60. I won't do it for ESO (another sh*tty game) and I won't do it for Online.

If I was playing GTAO I would be on my second character (see sig). My character is level 10.

I don't play this game anymore. And when I do, I literally sit there and do nothing.
