Would pay to play GTA Online? Like $5 a month? Should it be more? It would cut down on the glitchers, modders, and non legit players.

It wouldn't cut down on sh*t, Hackers can bypass things easily and because it weren't free more people would be motivated to hack to play.

But we bought the WHOLE game,this includes Online which R* had added later on but it was always on the disc.

Online play is a integral part to the GTA series. Just because Rockstar wants to pretend it's different so they can add sharkcards, doesn't make it different. If it was a different game it wouldn't be classified as Grand Theft Auto V on PSN or Xbox Live, it would be Grand Theft Auto: Online.

 

Don't pretend Rockstar did a great service and created a whole new product by giving multiplayer a point.

lol the unfortunate xbox users have to pay for their gold membership, and you don't see their community shrinking, so I'd guess that $5 charge really wouldn't affect anyone who is still keen on playing online.

Another avenue would be for Rockstar to create two versions of GTA Online one version is pay to play with added benifits and the other version is watered down like we already have.

I dont own Xbox so Im not familiar with its online pricing. Though Im almost certain its pricing includes all games. Thats a HUGE difference. And going by the OPs terms that would be an extra $5 ontop of Xbox online services.

More like the people who aren't going to pay an arbitrary fee to play a game they already paid for. Online was announced as part of the package when the game was released.

how is it separate you need the GTA5 CD to play the Online game. GTAO isn't its own App/CD its included not sold separately

how is it separate you need the GTA5 CD to play the Online game. GTAO isn't its own App/CD its included not sold separately

 

 

The Benz - Rockstar North's president said this, I have no reason to doubt the president of the company

Really?

 

The Xbox One uses the standard Xbox Live system. The PS4 uses Playstation Plus, the program previously used on Vita and PS3 for free games and deals, as the required service to play online. Basically to play PS4 online you need Playstation Plus.
