I will be able to hear the sound of gunshots and cars vrooming from miles away. Can drive freely on highways and cruise easier. IV had it as well. But after the free roam got old the graphics started to fail, and i could remember many, many times running all the way from the 3rd island just to find a car at the airport. Of course they also had the no cops and weather choice too. it's like R* North and R* South are bitter enemies, 1 made GTA 4 Vanilla, GTA 4 TBOGT, GTA 4 LATD, the other made GTA SA and GTA 5 and they don't talk to each other or share graphics and ideas. Yours_Truly_85 Posted August 9, 2014 Share Posted August 9, 2014 Traffic is needed. it's part of the realism of the game. Plus you couldn't steal a quick ride when needed if there was no traffic. There would be no cops either. I think it's fine how it is minus a few issues. The map is huge, if there were only 16 ppl and no ncps it would feel empty. I wouldn't mind a 'no traffic' option - If you didn't have to run away from your vehicle so you can call for another, or have to wait three minutes before you can call for a different vehicle. I often steal other vehicles just so I can drive the intended distance away from my personal vehicle to order a different one. Disabling traffic would soon become a thorn in my side, (due to this!). I don't understand why I have to drive away from my vehicle so I can order up another one. I also don't understand why there's a waiting time for personal vehicles, and not a waiting time for personal main battle tanks. First people come and say "There should be no cops.", and now "There should be no traffic." - both of which are things that make up a huge part of GTA Online. I don't get it! I can see why you wouldn't want traffic during races, but in free roam!? The game would feel completely dead. If anything, there should be MORE traffic. I've got a selection of delightful PVs but I still like to rob random cars when the mood takes me. The whole map would feel dead like a zombie apocalypse without the zombies, and weaving in and out of traffic is half the fun and challenge of driving. There you have your empty streets and no cops. Drive away from race area or create one so as to have car rockets spawning near to players. I prefer the more populated sp world with more people,animals ,and traffic. Online less traffic does offer easy top speed runs between the city and places like Sandy Shore. I'm already fully aware of this. However, when I want to call for another vehicle, it still leaves me having to wait until I can call another one. I like to switch out cars to compliment the different terrains the game harnesses. I switch out often to bikes, cars and trucks so this is a little tedious to me.
