Do you think Content Creator is...

I didn't like the questions so I'm going to ignore them and do my own thing... which means it'll be long and ugly.

 

The Content Creator is an awesome idea. It's we the players that screw it up.

 

The only jobs that people play are the money ones. Back when races were money you could find people playing Criminal Records, Down the Drain and even Dipping In was doing well. The day they nerfed it, empty lobby. Now you can play a ton of Rooftop Rumble. In my opinion that's a R* mistake as the races weren't guaranteed to make money since you had to actually win and would create more activity. If they wanted to nerf money don't do it to something that only a few will make money. Does that mean I suggest bumping Creators? No, they should be for fun... that is if anyone was interested in it.

 

Nobody plays. Way before the creator was available no one was playing Jobs. Host a job and ghost town. Some of this has to do with how the game finds players and the idea that we just randomly get put into a job not seeing a list of what's out there that we can pick and choose.

 

I know you guys don't like RP maps but look at all the plays. It shows me you're detached from who is actually playing this game. They aren't on the forums. These guys just want RP and Cash and care nothing of play-ability. It's a testament of the mediocrity our fellow players are. R* doesn't really police their content either. That means that just Rooftop Rumble does well so do RP maps. The user who creates them is rewarded with every like and since so many people use them they get boosted to the top of the list. R* solution was to verify events but it needs more deleting of maps that don't make sense.

 

Create a system where the good creators are rewarded and the bad players are ignored and you'll see the system work. There is nothing wrong with the creator, it's the players who create them, the players who play them or the lack there-of.

 

You've been given the opportunity to make your own game and you've chosen to wreck it and now you're saying, "see it doesn't work." That's junk thinking. Sometimes you have to put effort in to get value out.
