Do you think we should get a new Character Creation System?

We had a bad Character creation:

 

My ideas of improving the character creation system:

 

-Change how you walk (Walking like a normal person)

-Change your character's eye shapes

-Change your character's voice

-Change your character's weight *Skinny to Normal to Buff to Fat*

-Change your character's face how you look

-Change your character's lips

-Change your character's height (4' 0 to 6 '5)

-Change your eye color

-Change your character's head shape

-Change your character's body shape

-You can increase the Female's boob size (From small breasts to big breasts)

-Over 100 hair styles (From being bald to long hair)

-Change your character's face expression

 

*This is no JOKE, NPC dresses better than our characters.

We get the plain clothes ones.*

 

Able to wear REAL Outfits instead of the plain outfits:

-Franklin's Outfit

-Trevor's Outfit

-Micheal's Outfit

-Astronaut Outfit

-Alien Outfit

but that's the best part of Saints Row, the wild looking characters lol. but you have to admit SR does have a decent creation system even if you only really get a few presets to work with.

I'm not gonna lie. SR has GTA beat in 2 things.

1. Plastic Surgery.

2. Island use and location.

i can think of a number of things:

better radio

better combat with hand to hand style.

cooler gestures.

better clothing options (able to change the color of just about every piece of clothing)

SWORDS!

in SR4 a vampire bite.

human shield ability.

buying stores.

cooler missions.

able to steal and own just about any vehicle

 

but i also like a number of things R* has done here:

no lame super powers. (seriously SR with super powers, lame)

better gun controls.

better driving, flying, and boat controls.

cooler guns.

dodge and counter option in fist fights.

better apartments.

cooler map.

 

still though SR has a few better things over all.

Should? It needs to becuse effing christ the character creation system in GTa 5 online is atrocious. Not kidding, I remember playing a few games on my sega genisis that had better customization sytems. Even freaking cyborge justice gave better looking options and that used junkyard robots. GTa5 had worst character creation system I have ever seen, how anyone can defend it is beyond me. It was inexcusable.

A lot of People like to bring up APB. That would be prefect but it dosen't even need to be that deep. The level given by saints row games is fine.

I like to be realistic. I have no idea how GTA's internals work so I am going to assume the way charcaters are rendered would probally prevent things like editing body shaps. I can't play gta 5 anymore but I do remember seeing seams in some odd places like the upper chest area. Maybe it would be too much work to made diffrent clothing options for diffrent bodies. That is understandable but there should be options for of skin and hair options and the ability to edit head shapes or face features. Scaling should be possible.

Also the options shouldnt be super realistic and dry. If I want a green mohok, red skin tint, and give my guy an orc face then damnit it should be an option becuse It's not gameplay altering like a centor or a 209 would be.

 

Sadly it dosen't seem like we will get any real improvments becuse I been hearing talk about being able to port current characters to the newer version of the game so it sounds to me that we will be stuck with same lame ass character creation system from last gen.

I really hope they pull thier heads out of their collective asses and learn from the mistakes made in GTA4 so they can understand that this "hyper realistic" BS does nothing but holds the games back.

to be honest i don't get how people can get a game they already boath on one system on a whole new system. for people like redman, that i get but others who can still play on PS3 or 360 getting it for the next gen systems just for looks? i don't get that but its they're money i guess.

I really don't plan on buying GTA5 again until it is 15$ on steam or something. Don't care about the story in R* titles, bought it for online.

It's not worth a second buy in my opinion unless the new version blows my mind by doing the opposite of what GTA 5 have done. I am still on the fence and if its just a copy/paste of what we have now, I don't care and will just pick it up in 4 years time once the mods are out.

But there are plenty of reasons to buy a newer version. The fact that the current version struggles to maintain 27 fps is a huge reason in itself. Normally if my games drop below 40 fps I'm turning them off and trouble shooting for problems. This games performance on consoles is terrible and unplayable.

well from what i understand the only difference for PS4 over PS3 and X1 over 360 is graphics, its like you said basically a copy and paste only slightly enhanced to look better. like the HD collection ports.

I think alot of players would love a better character creation system. I dont see it happening on this gen gta and honestly I dont think gta 5 online for next gen will have it either. Rockstar will wait for all the positive feedback from both gen gta 5 and possibly incorporate it into the next gta game. Or I could be extremely wrong and it comes out next week.
